Shocking! Shocking portion size and food quality. This place is a perfect stop not too far from SeaTac Airport. We found it by accident. The food was outstanding. My wife, who is a Chicken Parm connoisseur of sorts, said it was the best Chicken Parm she'd ever had. I didn't taste it but it looked great and was enough for 3 grown men. I had a half Greek Salad with Grilled Salmon, equally outstanding. Another in our group had the 12 inch "Seattle's Choice" pizza, which is basically a Stratchatella Pizza. It tasted great! Our teen daughters shared a Grilled Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo which was likewise excellent. My teenaged son, who is a bottomless pit, ordered the Italian Cold Cut Sub, which he could not finish! It was HUGE. Finally, something made him full for 15 minutes! ???? Put this place on your list and plan to share a lot of dishes because portions are massive! 10/10
Two of us went for an evening dinner. We both ordered the meat lover's calzone, so I can speak to anything about the variety of tastes.
However, both our calzones were crispy, spicy, cheesy, and piping hot. They were stuffed with bacon, shredded pepperoni, ham, and likes of mozzarella. The top was crispy without the bottom being burnt.
The ambiance was nice and much more classy than the process of ordering. The sign said "seat yourself" but it took a while for the server to wander out with menus. I walked up to place the order since I didn't want to wait for him to get around to it. He was helpful serving the food and keeping tabs on us, but we had to basically ask for everything. So, service might have been authentic even if the food wasn't?
I would definitely go back to try the pizza or chicken Parmesan. Just expect the service to be a little more laid back than proactive.
Ordered pizza for delivery a few times while writing late. Arrived quickly hot and fresh. Quality ingredients and toppings in ample quantities. One of the best pizzas in the PNW as rated by a guy from the east coast. Wish they were open later for delivery at least. Keep it up. A+++
This restaurant and the workers are amazing! My family came in Sunday night and it was only supposed to be a crowd of 13 people but some family friends of ours ending up coming too. So it totaled out to 25 people. We didn’t have a reservation, and didn’t give them a heads up and they served us anyways. They had a cook and two workers in the restaurants along with other people dining in. Our waiter was so patient and kind to us all, the food for EVERYONE was amazing, hot, fresh and delicious. Thank you to Amante that night!! Next time we will make sure to call ahead to let you know a big party is coming in. ❤️
We tried Amante on a whim and were not disappointed.
I had the Florence which has a tomato base and toppings that included tomato, spinach, mushroom, mozzarella, and ricotta. The flavors married well and the crust was good (a nice texture without being too hard/crisp). My only critique is that the crust in the center was a bit soggy. I'm sure this was from the fresh tomato.
We also had a cheese pizza with extra cheese. This pizza was actually my favorite as it was the pizza which I had been searching for over the last few years that eluded me until now. The tart flavor of the mozzarella along with its oiliness were perfect with the tomato base and crust.
I'll definitely be returning.
Been here a couple times. Excellent pizza. Just had the house special on a thin crust and it was one of the best pizzas we've ever eaten. Very disappointed in my seafood salad however. Menu says shrimp and snow crab leg meat on the salad.. There was no shrimp and only imitation crab meat. I was expecting real crab. The Greek salad dressing wasn't up to our expectations. We'll just stick to the pizzas. It's a great looking restaurant. I hope they stick around and draw in more business.
Well the pizza was good but I ordered 3 slices, one plain, one pepperoni, and one meat lovers slices to go and when I opened the box it looked like they just thru my slices in the box. Like they was playing hoops with my slices. I was a little disappointed with that but they didn't taste bad at all even served lukewarm.
The other issue I had was the bathroom. It was a mess and no toilet paper. I just thought they would have a better presentation with everything especially being that a saw the words gourmet somewhere in that restaurant.

Did a couple of the more loaded options, and we enjoyed. Very flavourful toppings. Light and fluffy crust. Medium thickness, and good topping to crust ratio.

still darn tasty, but not as good as I remember. I had the Seattle favorite pesto Pizza on Pan crust. Solid, but not as flavorful as I was hoping for. Just a bit muted, especially with the pesto which surprising me.
