After eating here, I stored it into my favorite places to eat. The customer service provided by SHAY was amazing!! The pizza was so fresh and reminded me of back home. TRUE NY STYLE. The wings were definitely cooked well and the sauce had the perfect level of kick. 10/10 recommend!
Visiting the area and ordered from here because it was advertised in the hotel room. The order overall was disappointing.
At first I attempted to place an order over the phone and had to provide my card five different times. The young lady told me she’d write it down the last time and would put it in again; I asked she not do that. After the final attempt I ordered through the Slice app successfully.
I ordered the Old Mexican pizza, mango habanero wings with two blue cheese, two water bottles, and a Diet Coke. Upon arrival I received the items with disappointment. No sour cream came with the Luke warm pizza, the wings were oily (but the best part of the meal), the dressing was filmy, stringy & wreaked, and my Diet Coke was a coke.
I received a refund for the sauce and soda.
Would not recommend and would not order again.
I ordered a BAKED penne, calzone and snickers dessert. The penne wasn’t baked. The little bit of cheese was sitting cold on top. The sauce is bland. You could at least ensure the cheese is melted or don’t call it baked?? The calzone is bland. The toppings weren’t distributed. I cut it open and 1/2 was huge onions & 1/2 was mushrooms. The cheese in the calzone surprise, not melted. I haven’t tried the snickers dessert.
Update - I called the restaurant and was pretty much called a liar by the cook. He knew it was completely cooked because he cooked it. He said I needed to go through GH. I said I will not. We need to eat now. I’m not spending another $40 because they missed up. I told him I hope it’s busy because we’re otw. He said make sure you bring the food ????. Like I wanted to keep this garbage.
When we got to there the food was ready. A nice lady did talk to my nonverbal, hungry son and give him an Italian Ice. She was very sweet and caring. The cook was glaring from the back. I’m still in amazement that you know you 1/2 cooked the food and stare down a woman & a small disabled child. The new food did look way better. Food wise it was edible at best.
I used to eat there back in college when I lived at the apartments across Farrington. It’s been 20 years. Clearly times have changed. We used to order from there all the time. I had to waste gas and drive 9.6 miles for not much better food.
Restaurant was VERY dirty… fountain drinks were awful… we expressed that the drinks weren’t tasting right… she looked at us like she didn’t know what we were talking about… bathroom was DISGUSTING. Also expressed that… employees as you see in photos are just sitting on their phones… plenty of stuff can be done on the clock instead of sitting on their phone… calzone wasn’t cooked all the way… employee was touching food without gloves… won’t be coming back definitely wasn’t worth $60
This was is the Lolita pizza I ordered today...it was $10. I also did not receive one of the items I ordered, but I'm not sure if it was the postmates driver or the restaurants fault...won't be ordering here again. The other two pizzas in the order weren't this bad...but they weren't great either :(
The calzone was perfect. Cooked properly with the correct amount of ingredients. So many places do it wrong. They don’t. Service was fantastic and the bathroom was clean.
I've ordered from Amante a few times now and they have never failed to disappoint. Their selection of pizza topping combos are vast and intriguing and their thin crust is always tender and well cooked, just how I like it. The garlic knots are a must have, absolutely soft, well seasoned, and the chunky marinara sauce is zesty and incredible. I really like their ravioli but I'm not a ravioli connoisseur so I'll just say I thought it was really tasty. Their food is sumptuous and always flavorful, their customer service is ON POINT (shout out to Josh for being so kind!!) and I can tell they are extremely organized from their notes on the boxes. Amante has become my new go-to pizza place!!!
stopped in for lunch. 11:40am and the place is disgusting. My shoes stuck to the floor because it was so sticky. The bathroom was very dirty with dried urine everywhere. the fountain drinks were not working properly. I happened to be the only customer in the establishment and the customer service was missing.
This place needs a deep clean and work on customer service skills.
The pizza was ok, nothing to write home about but reasonably priced for taste.
