Best WLM Reviews
Amalia's Restaurant offers authentic Guatemalan flavors in the heart of LA. From hearty tamales to refreshing hibiscus tea, every dish feels homemade. Great service, cozy ambiance—perfect for a taste of Guatemala and with live music sometimes!
Amazing authentic Guatemalan traditional
Food. The staff was very welcoming and I really enjoyed their live marimba music and band, on Saturday when I stopped by. Food was delicious.
I've visited here twice now. I've had their breakfast plate and carne guisada. Both were excellent and very delicious. Roger provided the best service! Definitely will return and I recommend to friends.
A great place to eat. My first time trying Peruvian cuisine. Highly recommend the place.
Went once when they were playing live music. It’s nice, but really loud. Went once when no music was being played. Much better. The food is amazing. I love Guatemalan food, and this is authentic and excellent. Atmosphere is nice and the customer service is great.
First time coming here. My mom ordered the mariscada, but she hardly liked it. The shrimp was kinda raw, and the soup didn't have much flavor. But everything else was good. I ordered plato de pollo with rice, fried platains, and beans super good. I totally recommend it.
such good yummy comfort food!! my friend and i both got the sopa de res & we felt so welcomed our whole time there! there was also live music which was such a pleasant surprise
unfortunately, in between us splitting our bill, we forgot to leave our tip! if there is a venmo that we can send our tip to, please do let us know!
It's a very good place to come and eat one of Guatemala's authentic foods. My husband and I came last year when I was pregnant, and decided to come back again now with my 2 babies, and didn't fail us still. Food is still delicious and fast service. Waitresses were really polite and attentive. Would truly recommend it guys. A little pricy on some items for my behalf but neither the less, everything is great!!
