The atmosphere and service were both top notch, and the menu itself was diverse and had lunch specials. I ordered the roasted clams for my appetizer, and the clams themselves were tragically extremely chewy. It was a shame because the prosciutto breadcrumbs it came in were delicious, especially with the marjoram. However, the grilled skirt steak was even more disappointingly chewy, lacked flavor, overcooked, and annoyingly difficult to slice into with the butter knife they provided. These mistakes are less forgiving considering this restaurant’s price point and extremely competitive nearby restaurants.
We went a couple days ago and I’m already wanting to go back ! Get the salad with sesame dressing and the cheeseburger with fries . Trust me on this . Absolutely fantastic . We stayed a long while and loved our whole experience . Thankful for Sutton Place Social Magazine for mentioning this place at some point because that’s how I knew about the cheeseburger ;) see you again soon Amali .
Delightful, loved the butter beans and the Sancerre by the glass is to die for. I came here after work for a "wind down drink and appetizer". The butter beans were amazing!!!

The ahMaZing dinner at Amali NYC features a curated menu selected just for the lively group of influencers. Menu choices included Mezze, Appetizers -the Salmon Tartare, so yummy; Entrées included filet mignon and red snapper sides, and of course, Italian desserts, which included gelato
The atmosphere and service are great. I came for restaurant week. The only reason I did not put 5 stars is because my entrée was not that great. I got the red snapper and it lacked seasoning. The rice was flavorful but I didn’t like the flavor of it. I’d steer away from that dish but everything else was great!
Amali is a beautiful restaurant that serves Mediterranean cuisine in midtown Manhattan. Choose from an extensive wine list with over 400 selections, cocktails, liquor, all sorts of seafood, pasta, salads, sandwiches, and items on the grill. Amali has a weekday lunch tasting menu which offers an appetizer and entree for merely $39. Also weekday happy hours from 5-7pm. Their friendly staffs took our order of a couple cocktails, roasted clams, oysters, pasta, and lamb chops. Everything is fresh and tasty especially the lamb chops. It is not gamey and blasting with flavor. Reserve a table and try one of the best Mediterranean food in town by Amali!

Small restaurant with amazing food and intimate vibe. We had the Canary Island Branzino with the Roasted broccoli and Fingerling Potatoes on the side, wow!
The fish was super fresh and delicious and the Broccoli was extremely tasteful and crunchy
Service is excellent.
The salmon was soo good . I felt the portion could have been a little more generous but it was what it was .
Chocolate mousse was delicious.
Make sure you look at your check , you could end up tipping twice if you don’t. They have a mandatory 18% administration fee ( that counts as a tip but just be aware )
