Best WLM Reviews

I was skeptical after reading some of the reviews but my experience was fantastic at Amalfi. I’ve decided to follow our server’s recommendations, and she was very helpful/attentive. Spicy Sicilian was full of flavor and was done just right. We shared various appetizers (some were just ok, but meatballs were my favorite). But the star of the night was the Gelato Chocolate Bomb, one of the best desserts I’ve had in a long time. In fact, we decided to come back to this restaurant just for the dessert instead of exploring a new spot in Atlanta in a few days. The drinks were also delicious. The restaurant is popular and there was some waiting both times despite having a reservation, but nothing excessive. Worth noting, some of my colleagues did not like their food so I recommend following reviews or servers’ recommendations.
Hands down the best pizza place in Atlanta,
The atmosphere is such a delight and easy on the eyes. The staff were kind and timely and best of all the freshness of all the food, the quality, the way the cheese just melts, chef's kiss! You won't be disappointed here, perfect for a date or family night!
A really nice place to eat with your loved one. We are visiting Atlanta, it is literally 3 minutes away from our hotel ( walking distance). Meatballs with pasta are so good.
Overall overpriced for meh food. I loved the vibe and ambiance but if you love Italian food, skip this place! The Cesar salad was huge and the only thing I recommend. Between my group we got Caesar salad, margherita pizza, and spaghetti bolognese.
Our server, Ricky was amazing! I hope you have the good fortune to have him as your waiter. Very cute entrance with a mural of the amalfi coast on the wall next to the stair case. Very rustic interior with lots of seating for big groups and small groups.
I couldn’t decide if I wanted the beef/veal bolognese, I’m not a huge fan of veal. And Ricky brought over some for me to try. The tomato cream sauce was amazing but I’m not a huge fan of veal, so I went with the gamberini. And omg. The white wine sauce with the capers, shrimp, spinach and cherry tomatoes…AND the home made linguine. Absolutely divine. The capers was amazing with a thick glaze balsamic vinegar sauce, fresh basil, tomato and mozzarella. Bf had the four cheese pizza, it usually comes with a white sauce but Ricky told us about it in advance so we opted for the tomato sauce and it was perfect. Not too rich given the four kinds of cheese. I stole a slice and it was heaven.
Excellent selection of alcohol - particularly the Prosecco and the ruby port!
The tiramisu tasted like the ones from the amalfi coast. ????
The chefs are so cute and so good at their craft. Highly recommend for your next date night or big pow wow with all of the friends.
Can't believe I've never been here. The restaurant is in a very prime location. Secured parking deck is available right next to the establishment. They do not validate parking, but the rates are not horrible. The restaurant is very nice upon walking in it doesn't even feel as if you're in Atlanta. Richard was our server, and I asked lots of menu questions, which he was very helpful and knowledgeable. He suggested many items that helped us to make a decision regarding our final choice. Everything was tasty and fresh. Prices and portions were extremely fair.
My husband took me here for my birthday dinner, and I assumed the experience would be better than it was because of the ambiance. I loved the dining area however I felt rushed when it came to ordering. We had an 8:30 reservation but didn't get seated until almost 9pm with the location closing at 10pm, so maybe that's why the waitress was moving and speaking quickly. Ordered appetizers and drinks, and those items came out fairly quickly. We ordered our entrees, and it took quite a while. Once the meals started coming out, I was served something I didn't order, so I had to wait even longer for my dinner to be prepared. I asked for bread for the table, and it never came out. I'm not sure if they were short staffed or what was going on, but I will most likely try another Italian spot when it comes to this type of dinner option.
Very cute place! Just would recommend lighting the candles on the tables in the evening for added ambience. Ours was empty.
Pizzas were delicious! Especially the funghi!! The place was busy. Would recommend booking (if possible).
Only complaint in the caprese appetizer was 4 small slices of tomatoe and the tiramisu didn't even get a second bite because it was like it was one week old. Very dry, not creamy or moist.
Other than that..I'd definitely go back :)
