My family and I ate at your establishment last night. E we had an overall great experience, we loved our server! Teresa was very friendly and provided service with a smile the entire time while we were there. Even though it to the order a little while to come out, she made the wait very pleasant. Teresa made sure she communicated and kept our drinks refreshed. I will definitely be back and request her as a server.
Alumni Sports Bar in Royse City is an absolute gem! The atmosphere is fun and welcoming, perfect for catching a game or just hanging out with friends. The food is top-notch — the wings are some of the best I’ve had, and the drink selection is fantastic.
Our waitress, Jenna, made the experience even better. She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Her recommendations were spot on, and she really went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our time.

We are avid fans of Alumni and relish the opportunity to visit our local sports bar, where we are always greeted by familiar faces, including the staff and patrons. The food is superb, and the service is impeccable. The Alumni team, comprising Tim, the owner, Josh, the General Manager, and the bartenders and servers, consistently deliver exceptional service. A notable aspect of our experience is the personal attention provided by Tim and Josh, who regularly engage with guests, ensuring their satisfaction and occasionally offering a warm hug or handshake. Our go-to server, Amber, has been an integral part of the restaurant's team for over five years and consistently demonstrates an impressive recall of our usual orders. Alumni unequivocally deserves a 5-star rating from us.
Alumni is a great bar and grill! Jenna is the BEST bartender and waitress in the place. Be sure to ask for her if you come in. The drink specials and food are also great. Tim the owner is a great guy and takes amazing care of his customers as well.
We used to love this place, but last few months has really disappointed us. Gave them one more chance last night and same thing. All 3 visits have taken close to an hour if not more to get food. First time they were packed and AC was broke so we took it as a fluke. Second time waited and when food came out most was cold. Didn't get soup and when asked about it was told would be right out. After about 10 minutes asked about it again and was told the manager was about to make some more and would be about 30 more minutes. At that point just told them to forget it. Last night waitress got our drinks quickly, but they we're wrong. After that, was another 15 minutes or so before she came back to take our food order. Along with 2 other tables that came in after us. After those 2 tables, as well as another that had only been there about 20 minutes, got their food we asked about ours. Was told they were still working on it. My husband asked why was ours taking longer. At that point the waitress started to get an attitude and said, "It's only been 46 minutes since she put our order in" That and the table that just got there had got their food because, "They just ordered appetizers." My husband laughed at the 46 minute comment and said that was crazy they saw that as acceptable and to just cancel our order. At this point, the waitress went over to the bar and made a huge ordeal to the manager about how our food was almost out and we wanted to cancel. Manager came out and was great. Even offered his name to make it right next time. We told him we will never be back and we won't. Sad because it used to be one of our go tos. But waiting this long and the waitress' attitude is unacceptable.
Alumni Bar and Grill is an absolutely amazing! The chicken wings are hands down fantastic and packed with flavor. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a night out. Jenna, our waitress, was incredible—friendly, and attentive, and made our experience unforgettable. To top it off, the manager, Tim, was exceptionally polite and checked in to ensure everything was perfect. Outstanding food, service, and vibes—highly recommend!
I had an amazing experience at Alumni Restaurant! Our server, Jenna, was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. The fried pickle spears were absolutely delicious, a must-try for anyone visiting! Tim, the owner, has really created a great atmosphere that's welcoming and comfortable. Highly recommend this place for both great food and a great time!
Josh, Brittney and the entire crew were amazing to me the entire time I was in town. I actually ate here for lunch and dinner every day I was in town! Even when I came in close to 11pm for food, the quality and atmosphere never lacked! Absolutely recommend if you are in town!
