Great service, has a fire dancer that comes by every half an hour or so, nice ambiance and artwork. Unfortunately, the food is mediocre. Only three scallops for $19, paella was too oily and salty to my liking, and the steak is just fine, not special. Dessert was nice. I got a guava cheesecake, but we couldn't taste the guava at all since the strawberry compote was very strong.
I wish I knew of this place sooner. Everything was absolutely amazing. The Holiday bar menu was perfection. Everything I selected from the menu was chef’s kiss. Truly top notch. The service from Izzy our server was the best I’ve ever had. I mean she treated my small group like we were family. She made great recommendations and was just warm, welcoming and kind hearted. Thanks soo much Izzy.
Parking was right next door in the parking deck and parking was validated up to 2 hours in Alta Toro. I can’t wait to come back.
The patio is set up really cute for Christmas. You do need reservations for a seat out there. We loved our Christmas cocktails and the appetizers we tried. The hot cocoa cocktail, empanadas, and cheese croquettes were really good. The service on the patio wasn’t great but we loved the bartender inside.
We went to celebrate my wife Birthday eve in this amazing place. I highly recommend this place. People from here are so friendly and attentive. Good environment. Very nice restaurant to go and have a wonderful time.
Excellent food, atmosphere, and service. The only reason for the 4-star review is that the menu print was small and hard to read. Also." Seafood Paella " has pork in it, and I thought it was all seafood. I don't eat pork and didn't realize until after I have eaten half of it????. because it was named "seafood paella."
I love it here. The server brought out the wrong food order for me and my girlfriend initially. The manager Liz fixed it immediately and got us two complimentary drinks! Great aesthetics, warm atmosphere, phenomenal service. Definitely will return.
Every time I come here it is a great experience! It has such a cute patio for outdoor dining and socializing.
The paella is good along with the scallops and the coco loco for seafood lovers!
The drinks are top notch and the bartenders (Juan and Almendra) were personable and accomdating.
Went to AltaToro for a double date and it was a lovely experience!! We sat in the heated enclosed patio area and it was Christmas decorated, very pretty. Our server Victoria was very friendly and accommodating and service was top notch. We had the tostones, paella mariscos, as well as the guava cheesecake and these fried donut thingies, all bangers. There was a fire dancer when we went and it was very cool. I would highly suggest anyone looking for a yummy Latin restaurant to try AltaToro it was a lovely time.
