Went in for emergency room treatment, told the nurses and doctor what I needed, as condition has happened before, no rush during the worst part of my attack, had to have a personal friend go get personal fluids out of his car to hydrate myself. Security guard hassled us about parking there to drop me off at emergency, then hassled us when I had to go outside to puke, no help at all just attitude from security with nothing better to do. Then waited 3 hours to be given an over the counter vitamin cuz they were out of the treatment I requested, after rehydrating myself with Gatorade since they weren't gonna help at all. Drive to santa fe if you truly have to go to the hospital.
Waiting 3 days for x-ray report really this is not acceptable turn around for a hospital. They don’t return calls when they say they will call you back they don’t answer phones they hide behind voicemail. This is the last place you may want to go for none emergencies.
I’ll rate it at 1 on a scale of 1- being the worst and 10 the best.
On our way to back to El Paso we had to stop at the ER. While my husband was being seen my children and I waited in/by the car in the parking lot/grass which is also not an ambulance entrance. After an hour their security came out and said we had to stay in our car or go in their lobby which is incredibly tiny, we are a big family and there would not have been enough room for their patients and us. Outside they do have benches. And it also is not posted that we have to remain in our vehicle. I think he just has nothing better to do.
This place is a joke to be honest. Ive never had good things to say about this hospital but TODAY how do u have me in the waiting room for 20 minutes AND I CAN NOT BREATHE?? And to PRIORITIZE someone who came in AFTER me because shes throwing up? RIDICULOUS, i hope i pass out in this waiting room so i can sue yall 100
Went to the emergency room yesterday. The staff were amazing. They took care of me gave me the work up, my nurse olivia was great. Xray and respiratory were great. Dr sidransky was nice and quick straight to the point. And today I feel so much better thanks to the ER staff
Went in for caffeine side effects. Took 800mm caffeine pill. Sick all day. Got IV rehydrate. Dr Henderson very good the staff excellent from nurse to xray tech to check in front desk
So I went to take my grandson and daughter to get seen I sat in there for 3 hours for their results just for them to tell m to give them over the counter meds and they had the nerve to tell me my grandson sounded fine when you could clearly hear the congestion in his chest...???????? I would give 0 stars if possible
I was worried about coming here after reading all these reviews and hearing from some locals as well. I am from out of town and I came in nervous as hell.. let me tell you.. the BEST most Caring staff from walking in to leaving. They changed owners recently and removed a lot of the “bad ppl” and replaced them with amazing, caring, loving, supportive staff! I was so pleased and as someone who has worked in hospitals since 18yrs old I would love to even come work here. Dr.Carrelles is great and will do everything to make sure you are okay and comfortable for your time there and even when you go home. She was a doc who I have longed to see in the field as she cared, didn’t dismiss me, supportive, I could go on.. the nurses were amazing as well and took great care of me even though I was a hard stick for an IV they did it with ease ( after a few tries) and they were so apologetic and made sure I was not in pain. Would recommend to go with this new staff and leader change and hey maybe I will be there as staff too soon!
