The clinic workers were fantastic today. I was a walk in and didn’t have to wait too long. They were very helpful and got me in and out with ease.
Normally, I have a wonderful time at this Intermountain facility, but today I went for pain on my ovary. The nurses were very friendly and professional, but my doctor was not. I tried to communicate what was happening to me, but unfortunately that was hard, because he kept interrupting me.
I ended up thankfully getting my sonogram scheduled for my issue, but my experience under this doctor’s care today was upsetting.
I wasn’t able to catch his name, but I hope no other patient has to deal with what I did today. My pain being demeaned to nothing more than a bruised cervix, when my pain is clearly coming from my ovary, is frustrating.
Also, telling your patient that they are just “probably sex-ing it up and your cervix is a little grumpy” is unprofessional and unnecessary. I’m disappointed and I will be seeking help elsewhere.
This was one of the best instacare experiences I’ve ever had. Everyone on our care team was very kind. They took their time with us and answered all our questions. We felt like we were in good hands.
I was so grateful for the kindness and professionalism of Dr. Cannon and the staff at Alta View InstaCare. I had a face injury and they were prompt at getting me seen and I was very pleased with the care that I received! Much thanks to everyone that helped me!
Spent the normal amount of time in the waiting room and then back in the exam room so about 45 minutes total wait time between the two but that is to be expected.... the nurses and doctors on the team were very attentive all of them and listened closely as I explained the problem.. plus they handle the issue nicely and it is healing well
Went to the instacare at 6:45 with toenail pain and swelling after a hike. I was told they couldn’t see me for that and that I should go across the parking lot to the ER. I felt ridiculous, but was in a lot of pain, so I went across to the ER. Every single person at the ER told me that this definitely could have been taken care of at the Instacare, but they have a habit of sending patients to the ER when they want to go home at the end of the day. So if you have any problems after 5pm, save yourself a visit to the ER and find another instacare.
