Great friendly exceptionally nice staff, amazing food, even better the price is also great. An extremely promising hole in the wall. I had the chicken and lamb rice platter. It tasted like it looked, absolutely amazing.
This place is great. It’s right by the house and the people are always nice. I’ve never been disappointed and the food is always good and fresh. My go to is the House chicken rice platter with corn nuggets and it absolutely slaps. The wings are good too!
We discovered this little family-run 'gem' just after they opened. Al is so welcoming and his desire to ensure that everyone receives a positive experience is genuine. We visit twice a week and have not found a menu item that we haven't thoroughly enjoyed. His portions are ample. My wife's go-to are the wings with various different selections of sauces. As for me, I can't walk out without a cheesesteak.
For those that understand... he uses Amaroso's rolls for his cheesesteaks! Definitely a valued addition for Mapledale Plaza.
Tonight’s super bowl now night, I decided to enjoy buffalo wings from Al’s. I ordered a dozen medium spicy wings. After few minutes, a gentleman from behind the cash register handed me my order. As soon as I got into my car, I realized that the wings appear to be unexpectedly cold. I was terribly disappointed, went back into the place, registered my complaint and asked for freshly made wings. After few minutes, the gentleman came out from the kitchen and handed me new wings bag. These wings appeared to be warm (not hot), I drove home as I had already expended much time for these wings. Wings tasted fine but shockingly there were only 11 and not 12 wings. So, for the next time - I would recommend any customer for this place to check if the food is freshly made and that the quantity is per your order and not less. Quality of the wings was as before however today’s experience has been unsatisfactory.
I’ve eaten here multiple times and each time i couldn’t be happier with my meal. The wings are so good.

This place has the best cheesesteaks in the area. Get the cheesesteak, American cheese, onions, mushrooms, crushed red peppers, and mayo. I’ve been searching for good cheesesteaks in this area for a long time. Couldn’t be happier to come across Al’s. So good. Please give them a try.
I have eaten wings from all over the US, I have had them at the Anchor Bar in Buffalo...and after a through investigation I do not recommend you eat these wings. I just live a few minutes from here so if you send me a message, I'll zip right down there and eat them for you. Don't want everyone to be miserable now, do we?
Ordered hot wings and lemon pepper for myself, and medium wings for the kids. Everyone loved the food. The chicken was hot and juicy. The sauce is really good. The fries had a really good season to them as well. Will definitely be back!
