I had an awful experience with Hope who slaughtered my hair in October of 2022. I am still trying to recover. I went in with longish hair and she cut my hair SO short and ran thinning shears throughout my entire head so I had these itty bitty short hairs that are just now growing out. I did NOT ask for short hair. I would never recommend this place and definitely not her. I complained repeatedly and they made light of it. I am still devastated.
Hannah does a great job, even Giles looks pretty afterwards.
After reviving an expensive and overall bad haircut from a different salon, I was nervous about finding a new place in Athens, but the Alps Barbers & The Salon, and specifically Kim Luttrell, gave me an amazing hair cut that cost literally a third of what I had spent before. The building is spacious on the inside, and had plenty of room for the different barbers and stylist. Though it’s largely out of my way, I will definitely be going back.
I was a walk -in, Sandy was available to take me immediately. She was very professional and provided a great haircut. Also, Very reasonably priced for a basic mens haircut.
I've been going to Hannah now for 1.5 years and she's been wonderful. The whole staff is very kind and does a great job!

Have never had a bad experience at this shop. The staff is well-trained and super friendly! They have lots of products to choose from and I can always ask for help when needing to find a product that fits my needs. I have been getting my hair dyed and cut by Mary for over 8 years. She is so sweet and always does a phenomenal job. William is the best at cutting hair - just make sure you call early. Availability with him is tricky because he is THAT great. Have been going here since I was born and will continue❤️
They do a really good job. There’s one guy there who is fantastic but he always seems to have a line. The girl I used was amazing but she left soon after. I won’t be returning, but that’s only because I followed her to her new place. If you’re looking for something reasonably priced with a reasonable amount of time this is your place.
