Best WLM Reviews
This place is the real deal. The best German favorites that you can get. Set in a historic building, the restaurant is cozy and inviting. The service is top-notch and you can tell the people working there love the work they do. The food is amazing and authentic and you will leave full! You can expect to pay $30-$40 per person. They also have a great selection of German beers and Wines if that's your thing.
TL:DR Don't miss this one if you want the best authentic German food in a cozy environment.
My wife and I had dinner here today, really delicious food. Our schnitzels were amazing. The Rahm Jaeger was to die for. The spaetzle and red cabbage was so good. So was the mushroom soup. We will be coming back!!
Wow! We decided to have my birthday dinner here last night and I’m so happy we did. It was the first time we’ve eaten here but won’t be our last. The service from Karen was amazing and the food was absolutely delicious!! Thank you for an amazing birthday dinner!
I've never had a bad meal here, the food is delicious. Even when they were out of what I wanted, (which also means the food is fresh all the time) the other entrée that I had was just as good. This is the best german food I know of.
Set out on a search to find the most authentic German dining experience and Alpine Haus delivered. Amazing food and a huge selection of German beer.
The rye bread is fresh and amazing. Food was delicious. Beer selection is better than expected. It was a bit pricey. $100 for two people and that’s ordering off the lunch menu.
Great little German restaurant in New Braunfels area... About 30-40min from San Antonio. Limited selection of German items, but what they have looks good, and taste pretty authentic. Good selection of German European beers, which was nice. Wife was impressed as well... So we will be back.
My second time coming here. I make it a point to come here after a long day at Schlitterbahn… I wish this place wasn’t 99 miles away from where I live otherwise I would be here much often. Everyone there is friendly. The food is phenomenal. I’m German so I can tell you that this food tastes very authentic. Very close to what you eat in Germany. I get the zigeuner schnitzel.. It is absolutely amazing. The spatzel are great as well. I had potato and ham soup last night. It was very tasty. The salad is also very good. Everything there is good!!! if you want authentic German food give this place a try trust me!!!! When it comes to German food, I’m very particular on it because I know how it’s supposed to taste.
Wish this place was in the Killeen/Temple area…
Oh…. The Alpine dessert…. Chefs Kiss!!!
