The tamales here are usually extremely good, and quite large for their prices. They're also pre-prepared and wrapped in tinfoil: you should get your order very quickly (a few minutes), and take out should stay hot for some time.
I'd especially recommend:
* "red sauce w/ chicken tamale wrapped in corn leaves"; and
* "green sauce w/ pork tamale wrapped in banana leaves."
There are lots of cold treats here, like ice cream, smoothies, shakes, and Mexican-style frozen fruit desserts; such things are not really to my tastes, and appear more expensive than I'd prefer.
Service is fine, but English may be a second language.
A #37 bus stop headed SE is right next by; and a #37 stop, headed NW, is across the street.
They tamales are so damn good like I can tell you that it's so good to the point that I was full off of two tamales I tryed to force myself to eat two or three more because it was so good especially the spicy ones you got to try it I'm not making this up.
And they have good customer service they act like they really care it doesn't matter what race you are they show a lot of care there.
Went there for tamales to go. The line went fast, My order was taken and promptly filled. The tamales are excellent! I drove from the Eastside of Indy for these. It's truly worth the drive!
Drive thru a little slow, but if you not in a huge hurry, then, this is the perfect place yo go for a good dessert. Employees are friendly and they have the best tasting treats ???? you may want.
Went for the tamales got chicken and the cheese and veggies one too. Also I got the beet juice. Everything was good as usual.
Beware. Prices at the drive thru are not correct. Pay attention to how much you are being charged. I wanted to try this place today but I did not appreciate the false advertising. A large biónico at their drive through is priced at 7.50 but I was being charged over $10. No thanks.
It's all sooo good! They are typically out of esquimales /corn tamales :( but that doesn't take away from how delicious everything else is. Gloria de Fresa and the red sauce tamales are favorites of mine.
Honestly very aesthetic and busy ice cream store, but after several trial of their menu, I didn’t think they were as good as other Mexican ice cream place I have been to. But they have a great range of things on their menu and I think they might be an expert in many other things beside the one I have tried with them.
