Hostess either ignored my request or misunderstood me. Left a bad taste in my mouth.
The wait staff more than made up for that.
Food was amazing! Had an amazing rib eye! The salad is so hearty and tasty! Everything was so very well prepared! I love the atmosphere here! But yeah, the hostesses (at least the one I had) need to learn to appreciate their customers.
We've been visiting Aloha for at least 15 years - their menu and service are excellent. Everything from shrimp to burgers to salads to filet mignon and lobster, there's something for everyone. Great cocktails, ocean view, nice upscale coastal decor - it's a favorite for date nights and special occasions in our home!
We recently held my son's wedding rehearsal dinner in their sunroom and it was over-the-top amazing. Service, food, drinks, our custom menu.... THANK YOU, Charnell & Tim Prebble for making our evening so memorable. We are grateful for you!
Great place for a quick dine-in lunch. Our waitress got us seated and food orders taken within a couple minutes of arrival during weekday lunch hours. I had the craft burger which had a decent sized patty and was very tasty. My co-worker enjoyed fish and chips and our colleague had the blackened halibut with coconut rice, and both left satisfied. Our server was also very courteous and friendly. Will definitely visit again next time work takes us to Ventura!
I come from Utah. I’ve been coming here for years. Everyone I’ve come I’m greeted with good kind nd people. Everything I’ve ordered has been cooked to perfection. Just outstanding

Side note. My boyfriend ordered the scallops and they’re the best he has ever had. Flaky, buttery yummy-ness.
Really excellent steakhouse in a picture perfect setting. Kenny’s table-side filet mignon was extraordinary…flavor beyond words. I would fly in from Detroit just for that. Lovely view. Prompt and friendly service.
Is next store to the ventura crown Plaza and basically across the street from the ventura amtrak station.
The tables in the back of the restaurant overlook the beach boardwalk and ventura pier.
The food is great and very reasonably priced. The New England clam chowder is fantastic. I always go for the salmon. Which is very good.
Great afternoon in Ventura went to the Surf Rodeo and stopped by Aloha Steakhouse for a late lunch/dinner and had a wonderful time food and drinks were amazing and service was spot on I will be returning
Great food with nice view. Went for our mom's birthday. Excellent food and Beth was a great server. They has lobster soup and huge pieces in the soup. The wedge salad had a lit of blue cheese and bacon. Steak perfectly cooked and shrimp had great flavor. Sat in the main ball room but could still see the ocean. Our whole party enjoyed all the food. The crusted halibut was very flavorful.
