Best WLM Reviews

So I'm a runner, and admittedly had not been taking care of my feet as well as I could have. My callouses were terrible, so I booked myself for a pedicure, and I'm so glad I did. It was so relaxing, and my feet are so soft now. I also had a manicure and decided to try something different and get rainbow French tips, and they're so cute and pretty! The tech, Joanne, was very nice, and did a great job. I definitely need to start going on a regular basis. I'm so happy with my experience.
Came in for a simple Gel French Tip. I was greeted by almost everyone when I walked in. My nail tech Grace was very sweet and listened to exactly how I wanted them done. I’ll definitely be back tomorrow to get my toes done! ????
Grace did an AMAZING job. I had a very pleasant and friendly experience. The prices were very fair and Grace understood and delivered exactly what I asked for (pink dip with chrome).
Really enjoyed my time with Diana! She KILLED this set! The crispest French I’ve ever had. She speaks Spanish and little English and we were still able to communicate my wants. She was very sweet and very efficient. I had concerns because I have an allergy to gel polishes and the owner was nice and asked me questions to make sure I wouldn’t get a reaction. Really appreciated the personable-ness of everyone.
I got a gel x set when I was out of town. I loved them and was eager to find a place at home where I could continue getting them. I found aloha nails and was super excited to go based on their reviews. I brought my mom and her bestfriend with me. I called 3 days prior to make an appt for all of us. They require a $25 deposit per person. This is the first time I had heard of that but I went along with it because I figured they were just wanting everyone to be respectful of their time. When we got there it was such a cluster. No one could keep track of who was getting what. I feel like I told 4 different people 4 times each what I was getting. I wanted a gel pedicure and a gel x fill with gel polish on top. It felt like every few minutes the hostess would come back and tell us something we wanted was an extra $15. It felt like my bill kept growing and growing. All of these charges should have been told to me when I told her exactly what I wanted over the phone a few days earlier. As I sit down for my pedicure I notice the cleanliness of the salon was sub par. There are literal cob webs in every corner and the surfaces look dirty as well. I started to internally panic. Not only am I on blood thinner but I have a mechanical heart valve and if I get an infection it could lead to a failure of my valve. I should’ve just gotten up and left but I figured there was a reason they have good reviews right? My pedicure went well, no complaints. Then when it was time for my fill I was led to a table with a woman who looked up at me from her phone like she would’ve rather seen anyone but me walking up to her. She began my fill and asked what shape I wanted. I told her almond but maybe slightly pointier than what I have because I think it’s cute that way. She rolled her eyes so hard. I said ohhhhh unless you can’t do that? I guess don’t worry about it. She said no no I’ll do it your nails are short though. Okay I get it, just explain it to me normally, no need for the attitude like I’m the biggest inconvenience that’s ever graced your presence. When she got to the step of buffing my nails out she went too deep on my right thumb and took a chunk out of what she had just done. Instead of fixing it she just kept filing down and down until it was decently smooth and covered it with my gel color I had picked out. I didn’t think much of it because she’s the professional right? She knows what she’s doing. I decided I probably won’t come back here because I don’t prefer it but it doesn’t mean it’s a bad place. I still tip over 20% for both women that did my nails and then this morning after my shower my thumb nail just completely lifts off. It’s like the gel never cured and it was still wet underneath. I am just really disappointed because I have to go somewhere after work today to have it fixed and spend a decent amount of money to do so. I have interviews for a promotion this week and can’t walk around with my nail like this!
Love love this salon! Have been coming here for a few months now and Tammy is amazing each and every time! Every time I visit I always leave happy with how my nails look. Tammy is amazing and I’ll keep going back just for her, she kills it every single time!
Very happy with my nails both times! Trang does an amazing job!! My first set lasted 3 weeks before I went and got a fill
B Le did an amazing job on my christmas nails! He was quick but very precise. I'll definitely be going back soon!
