Best WLM Reviews
I am not entirely sure what has happened lately, but the food has gone down hill, last time I ordered food it was “alright” which is a far cry from the “great” I’m used to having, went back today after a weekend of traveling. I was met with more fat than even anything else in the kalua pig and the tiny portion of Katsu was disappointing to say the least, I’m throwing most of it away
Was recommended by a friend. The food and service were great. We were lucky enough to have gotten there early, after we gave our order, a huge line formed until the door.
So this was one of my fav Hawaiian restaurants, I loved it bc of the food and the service. I’ve been ordering food from this place and the quantity of food that they give you is not worth it for what you pay, this is the second time, just look at this comparison… its not fair.
I didn't go into the bar side, so I can't comment on that, but the restaurant side is well worth visiting for the food. The accompanying picture is the combo plate, Chicken Katsu and Kalua Pig. Full-size cutlet of the katsu, 2 scoops of rice, 1 of mac salad and a bowl of almost melt in your mouth, pork goodness!
The katsu was perfectly fried, still moist and tender with good crunch from the breading. Kalua pig was piping hot, had a light smokiness to it that was just right with the cabbage. This was a combination of food that could probably have fed 2 people, so come hungry. Well worth the price of being all in, with a soda, for $20.
The cafe portion has a handful of booths and some stand-alone tables, not much for decor, but that isn't why you come here. The staff is pleasant, welcoming, and very attentive.
I would highly recommend a visit or three!
Great food, great services, very friendly and very nice, I love it & will definitely recommend & return ❤️????????????????
I would rate this a 4.5, it wasn't the best I have ever had, but worth stopping in. The lualua was fantastic.
The crispy pork belly was awesome.
Totally worth the 25 minute wait to make fresh.
A few dollars more than the typical Hawaiian place but the quality is higher and more sit down style.
Rarely review, but this amazing. Had several dishes , all were authentic and delicious. This place is better than many places on the islands. Even their Kimchi was ono(delicious). If you don’t come here, your doing yourself a disservice.
