Nice staff that will get stuff done in a timely manner. Generally nice tennants and, though a bit expensive, for the equivalent of a dormitory like room, it isn't too bad. Elevator works. The exterior of the hotel is kept clean. All around an alright hotel. And there is the Outlets at Legends Mall, the Sparks Marina and Park, and 2 casinos just down the street.
This is a great place to stay while visiting Sparks or just passing through. It's centrally located with everything you might need within a short distance. The Sparks Marina is just a couple blocks away with plenty of activities for the whole family. From fishing, biking or just going for a walk around the marina and it's so beautiful at sunset.
The Aloha has plenty of parking, laundry facilities, free Wifi and an elevator. It's reasonably priced. The rooms are clean and come with microwaves, TV's and refrigerators that make it a little more comfortable. The staff is very helpful and friendly with 24 hour surveillance cameras and office staff that makes it feel very safe. It shares a parking lot with all the amenities you might need while staying here: Gas station, fast food, mini market, donut shop and The Black Bear Diner. With more shopping, restaurants and a gym right across the highway, just a 15 minute walk. It's on the main bus line and only about a 20 minute drive to downtown, but there is Sierra Sid's Casino right there if you want to try your luck.
The lady at the front desk slammed her hand down and yelled at me! I’m still in shock. I didn’t disrespect her or do anything to warrant that, it just happened out of nowhere. I did come to the window 3 times and that’s one of the things she yelled at me, but once was to check in and the rest was to follow up on things she told me but never got back to me on. She was actually lying to me about these things but I didn’t realize it until she flipped out on me, still I was never disrespectful and didn’t deserve that reaction from her. The rooms weren’t great (definitely not worth $100 a night), but the service was horrific. I wouldn’t suggest anyone come here especially if you’re easily provoked or you’re a tit for tat kind of person because you could catch a case dealing with people like this, where as I just walk away and remember to never come back here. I’m just glad it happened right away on my 1st visit and not after I spent multiple thousands on repeat visits.
While staying at the aloha inn in sparks they helpful in many ways especially getting the broken bed fixed and helping me find resources when I struggled to pay rent.

As of January Aloha Inn is under new management. The ladies in the office are very professional and kind. The property is clean and their maid is amazing. They do weekly pest control for prevention and rent is the lowest rate in town.
Bad services racist media does not have remote control worked always fails door card of the room removes the light when they want and Wi-Fi. It doesn’t really work. I don’t recommend only if it comes, it starts again, it’s or by the way
I left new clothing in room o checkout. Office told me I was burnt and my checkout was their consent to steal my clothes. I'm unemployed and the pants and shirt were for interviews. Asked for manager and was refused.
You all should be ashamed of yourself! You took 2 weeks of money then asked me and my child to leave and didn't refund any of my money. I was homeless and not working I had to sleep in my car. Dam you
