Best WLM Reviews
My wife is a chef and it's always so hard to take her out to eat.
This is a rustic Hawaiian restaurant it is as authentic as they come.
The lau lau was fabulous.
The kalua pork was subtle smoky goodness right out of a Luau pit.
The chicken katsu was wonderful.
You eat the macaroni salad between each dish to cleanse your taste buds for the next dish it was wonderful.
Minus's are
Yes the menus is faded and the chairs are old and grubby. He could scrub everything down better.
I’d consider a name change. No aloha or hospitality whatsoever and that’s what makes Hawaiian food. It’s an experience. Had I not had my toddler with me and was looking down the whole time, I would’ve walked right back out. Looks like the health inspectors completely skipped over this place for the last decade or so. Food is ok but I felt bad feeding my husband this and my little one the musubi (didn’t feed to her) considering it had very obviously just been sitting.. Used to be a great place to eat at years ago but today unfortunately had to be our last.
The food is on point! Best I’ve had since leaving the island.
That said, everywhere you looked was dirty. It needs a thorough cleaning from floor to ceiling.
Such great food for prices that look like they haven’t changed in years! The mac salad, loco moco, and spam musubi were all on point! The owner was such a cool dude, enthusiastic about his food and happy to see us. 100% recommend to fix that Hawaiian craving!
Super generous portions large enough for a construction worker, hard working electricians or lumberjack men who burn up 3000 to 4500 calories per day. I had much left over to carry home. The attached photo shows how much was left after I was satiated. I had the shrimp and pulled pork and macaroni salad and two rice ???? balls. Too much for this old man but maybe perfect portions for you.
My grandpa mom and I all came in today to check this place out and it is amazing we will definitely be coming back again! The food is amazing potions are insanely good for the price and the guys behind it all seemed really cool! I definitely recommend trying it! I know we will be going back again for sure!
I wish I could say this place was good, because it used to be my go to for Hawaiian food. But somewhere between a few years ago and now it has changed. It is absolutely filthy inside the restaurant. It smells like old fryer oil. I ordered the ohana platter and the only thing I could stomach was the Mac salad and some of the kalua pig. The katsu didn't seem cooked all the way through the BBQ chicken was extremely salty and the BBQ beef tasted old. I can't believe how much this place has gone down hill. Will not return. ????????
They Got The Best Loco Moco Out right now!
I assure you, I have went here 4x in one week!
It’s that Darn Good Bro!
