Best WLM Reviews
Ours started with a phone call to the front desk before arrival. We got the sweetest woman ever on the phone when we got there she remembered talking to us and was even sweeter in person. She was very welcoming and helpful. Our room was nice. Needs some updating yeah but it wasn’t overtly dirty. When we checked out we had the same sweet lady. It’s ironic that her name is Angel cause she truly was one. Angel needs a raise cause she is what made our stay great.
Can’t say enough about this experience.
One usb port.No ice machine. Only one downstairs behind the clerk. Those of us need ice water for medical conditions. Lobby is filthy. No screen share and cable kept going out.
Went downstairs to find the lobby overrun by out of control kids writing on mirrors, no supervision and treating the lobby like it’s their living room
Very disrespectful and disappointing. Will not be back.
I want to preface this by say the staff was nothing but kind and help, It is not their fault that the facilities are in the current condition it is in.
Every reason I booked this hotel was out of service. No where that I saw did it say, the sauna, workout room, hot tub and pool were out of order. While the room was cleaned to the best of housekeeping ability, it's hard to hide water stains on the ceiling, a giant cracked mirror on the sliding glass door, old A/C that smells like mold, a wildly crooked tv. I understand that this property recently changed hands, and I understand thay when you buy a business it needs to sustain itself. However, when you buy a property such as this, you need to make sure your facilities are up to par and not advertise that you have amenities, when they are all out of order. I had really high hopes as I have stayed in other Aloft locations and had a great experience.
From the moment we walked in, something was amiss. The smell of the lobby accosted us, was it mold perhaps? We don’t really know. When we got to the room, it was dank and musty. The carpet was dirty and I questioned walking around barefoot. The sliding door to the bathroom was visibly dirty, perhaps not cleaned in any recent months. The corners of the floors were packed with dirt…but at least the beds were clean and comfortable! The room itself was just not inviting. We had to ask the front desk for ice. Speaking of the front desk, when we arrived we stopped and looked around for it. Found a small desk with large computer monitors and behind them sat a quiet young man who was uninterested in having any conversation with us. Welcome to Aloft, I thought. When we were checking out, the morning clerk asked us how our stay was. We looked at each other and shrugged, said it was ok, sort of at a loss for words. “Oh, was it a little too uppity for you?” Umm. What?! No it was dirty and uncomfortable and lacked customer service, but not uppity. Heading out, shaking our heads, I stopped to grab a cup of coffee. Asked if there was any milk. “Oh, no, sorry. We’re out of milk.” Of course you are. I had half a mind to go to the store and buy them some.
I have stayed at this aloft before and always had a decent experience but this last stay was honestly horrible sheets and towels were filthy customer service is very lacking. According to one of the front desk employees by the name of Timothy they have not provided any training to the staff and most of the people that work there only now the very basic such as how to check people in. He even said the company hasn't issued them individual logons so they all share a previous employees user id and passcodes so they don't get into trouble when they mess up. I spent almost 7 hours working with customer service and the front desk after they messed up the length of my stay. And as of right now I have been charged 8 different transactions from aloft totaling 297 dollars more than what even the front desk said I should have to pay or what the receipt showed. I spoke with them two days ago and the owner assured me it would be fixed that night but it has not. So now I will be spending more time on the phone just trying to get my overpayment money back from this company.
I walk in, and the lady that's running the front desk walks over from sitting at the bar. There's people drinking everywhere in the lobby and outside the smoking area. The pool is shut down. The area wasn't that bad. You have to get ice from the bar in the lobby, which is weird.
Disappointed doesn't even begin to cover it. Upon arrival at Aloft Tulsa, I was immediately faced with a broken door lock on my room, forcing me to change rooms. The first room smelled terrible, and while the second room was slightly better, it was unbearably hot. Despite setting the air conditioning to its lowest temperature (60 degrees), I had to sleep without blankets or sheets because it was still too warm.
Adding to the discomfort, there was no alarm clock in the room, and the number of towels provided was insufficient for two people. We had to request extra towels and washcloths. Additionally, there was no hair dryer, which is a basic amenity in most hotels, and we had to request that too. The smoke alarm was hanging off the wall, a concerning safety issue that should have been addressed immediately.
The TV in the room was outdated, with no streaming services or capabilities, making the in-room entertainment options very limited. The bar, which was supposed to be a highlight of the hotel, was never open during our stay, which was a significant letdown.
To top it all off, the hotel was undergoing some form of construction. However, the entire place was filthy, and it seemed like the construction was only happening on one side. There was no excuse for the general uncleanliness throughout the hotel.
From what I've read in other reviews, it seems like these issues are not isolated incidents. Other guests have also reported similar problems, such as broken amenities, unpleasant odors, and poor maintenance. It's clear that Aloft Tulsa has a consistent problem with upkeeping their facilities and providing basic hospitality services. I would not stay here again and advise others to look elsewhere for accommodation.
They were having water heater issues but that’s something they couldn’t control. Awesome place and great comfy beds.
