Best WLM Reviews

I usually don’t leave comments about my experience staying at a hotel, but to be honest, this was my worst experience in recent years. I stayed at this hotel last year and had no complaints. The room was new and modern.
This year, while traveling with my boyfriend, I chose the same hotel. The first room we were given didn’t have a working heater. The agent was super friendly and upgraded us to a room where the heater was working. At that point, everything seemed fine.
Unfortunately, during the night, even though we were extremely tired from driving all day, we were woken up several times by noise. In the morning, it got worse. I could hear people talking in the hallway and footsteps from the floor above.
This was a completely different experience compared to last time. It’s not worth the price. For a little extra, you could stay at the AC Hotel not far from here. The AC Hotel which is also under the Marriott brand. For just a little more money, the AC Hotel offered a far better experience with quieter rooms. Think carefully before deciding to stay at this hotel!
Excellent location in San Jose metro. Close to Caltrain station and lots of restaurants and bars. Service was awesome. Great for central location to other attractions in region. Rooms are comfortable and bathrooms are spacious. About a 20 min Uber ride from San Jose Airport so convenient for that as well.
I made a booking here mistakenly and the hotel is being difficult in refunding my payment. The reservation has been canceled, the hotel is able to rebook the room, and yet they won't refund my money. Imagine a hotel chain worth 80 BILLION dollars essentially stealing peoples money. I look forward to deleting this poor review when my situation is resolved. Unfortunately for the owner and admin there's nothing I can do about the multiple other disappointed customers. Regards, Tyler
I’ll rave at the top of my lungs about our experience. We stayed here for four nights, and Lucy, along with her colleagues, was nothing short of amazing. There are several charming restaurants and bookstores to explore, as well as a variety of coffee shops and grocery stores to choose from. In my opinion, it's quite centrally located. Thank you for being so accommodating and kind. A smile goes a long way in this world. Again, thank you Lucy for making our experience worth writing a review about.
great location, and very friendly staff. the rooms are unfortunately beaten up, I didn't get any sleep. a lot of noise from upstairs, parking, next door. it smelled funky and the cleaning staff didn't replenish items in the room
Awesome from desk staff, especially supervisor Lucy and reception staff Scott. Keep in mind this is a value brand, not a luxury Marriott property. Rooms are small, but very clean and modern. Renovations happening even though the property is less than 10yrs old. Nice gym and super close walking to tons of restaurants, shops, movie theater, grocery store. Dog friendly (with a dog fee).
No one should ever have to stay here, Save yourself the stress and hassle and just book the AC hotel down the road . The only reason I chose this place was b/c of the walking proximity to Caltrain to scoot me to SFO.||||For starters, Gold Bonvoy status does not even get you a room with a window. I’ve never been in a brand name hotel where there was no windows. The outline of where a window should be was there but this property has it boarded up with plywood. So, no window. No natural light at all in an already dark shoebox of a room. Next there appears there is no window b/c the hotel doesn’t have built in air condition. So the room has an external unit that is piped through the plywood.||||Here’s the worst part: That a/c unit doesn’t work, it was roasting hot in the tight little shoebox with no air conditioning, no ventilation and no window to potentially crack open . We went to the front desk and they refused to move us citing, “There’s one room available and it’s on your floor but they won’t let me assign it to you.” Marriott Corporate was no help either. In fact, they offered us “5000 points” which is actually about 1/8 the points this hotel goes for and when we said that was ridiculous they rescinded the offer. We didn’t want points. We wanted a room with air conditioning and a window in the middle of Summer. I don’t think that’s too much to ask for. While we didn’t have a car, they could’ve easily relocated to another nearby property and gory us a taxi there but nope… they refused. Front desk agent said she would call us with a solution and never called. The conditions we were subject to in this hotel were inhumane and probably not up to code either.||||There are signs everywhere that this property is in ill repair. The operating certificate in the elevator is expired, overhead lamps in the hallway have strings disconnected from ceiling so they are dancing by a thread, lots of wall damage in hallway and cracks in floor in room.||||Outside of all these complications, the standard rooms often little amenities. There is no fridge in the room and not even a garbage can in bathroom. The rooms are so small that there is no spot to even open up your suitcase fully, it Diesnt fit in the armoire or on the bench in the room. We had to get creative and put our suitcase under the bathroom sink on the floor. I’ve attached pictures to support this. ||||This place should just close down or be shut down by local government. Way to treat Bonvoy status members: no window, no air and no support when you request to move b/c the room is a sauna.
No decor, thin towels, small rooms, minimal toiletries that are not replaced. We asked for room cleaning; they only came once during our 3-night stay. Elevator broken and we had to drag suitcases down 4 flights. We are loyal Marriott, but would avoid this hotel.
