I love the lobby interior and the staff is very nice. The prices of food in the pantry is reasonable. The rooms are comfy and clean. Overall, a great stay! Thank you!
Beautiful rooms with a parking garage and indoor pool. View out the corner room with windows all around as amazing to sleep to all night. Room was very comfortable and quiet. Pool is indoors fairly large but no hot tub. Breakfast also isn’t free like other hotels. But still not a bad stay. Scooters nearby to look around the city as well is a plus.
Wonderful experience! I stayed with my kiddos on Labor Day weekend. The room was clean and lovely, great view of downtown. The hotel is so close to several restaurants, including the South Bend Chocolate Cafe, all easily walkable.
The lobby wasn't busy at 8, so we played games while a live musician played. The staff was very helpful and kind. The pool was empty at 9. We heard no noises at night or early in the morning and were not disturbed.
In the morning, we purchased a light breakfast from the lobby, grabbed some free coffee, and enjoyed a day out. The lobby was still quiet when we returned but the pool was quite busy with two different birthday parties and only a couple adults in attendance.
The elevator shakes a bit but all the public spaces are clean and all staff is nice.
I highly recommend the breakfast tacos, they are so good. My kiddos enjoyed the chocolate muffin and cinnamon roll.
Overall, one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in.
Overall an okay place to stay. Service was good and friendly. Room was quiet. A couple of busts though….. We could not get cold water out of the bathroom tap. There was no pressure in the shower and the Tub needs better drainage. There were stains on the room carpet and stains/marks on the walls.
Great hotel with very friendly staff. The maintenance manager, I think his name is Josh, was awesome in helping fix an issue with my room. 10/10 would stay here again! Thank you
Bad Experience! We spent 10 nights there for ND college drop off. We had a nice stay except the bad surprise after we left. The Hotel charged us with USD 200 without any reason. After contacting their office the explanation was that it was the Expedia commission. Expedia? We have never used Expedia! When we said that we didn't book through Expedia and that the charge on our account was made from the Aloft they kept saying to contact Expedia! Never again at the Aloft Hotel in South Band.
The hotel is super nice and in a great location.
My room itself wasn’t great though. The lock did not work on the room. I let them know and they gave me a $13 food voucher which I did not use. I asked if I could just apply it to my bill and they said no.
There was makeup on the walls.
There was a weird clump on the shower floor.
I was woken up extremely early by some really loud banging that lasted for the hours until I left. Did not sleep well because of the noises.
Stopped in during a road trip so we arrived after 10pm. The bar was open and the music was loud. We were greeted immediately and checked in.
The room was clean and the bed was heavenly. We also had a great view.
