Amazing hotel! Keys, the manager at the facility, was a phenomenal gentleman that helped significantly with our needs. Had electronic (not physical) gift cards that we needed to use to pay for our stay and he worked personally to make it happen. Rooms were clean. Love the open air feeling of room. Beds were extremely comfortable. Bathroom was nice and liked the heavy sliding door leading to it. Shower clean and enjoyed the glass enclosure any day to the pathetic curtains in other hotels that let water out and can give you a draft or lead to water outside tub. Clean front area and relaxing modern chairs finished off a great stay. Highly recommend the place. The people dropping 3 stars are clueless.
I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel as we only stay for a few nights for a business trip. This hotel is not very far from Manhattan or any of the other boroughs in New York City.
I really enjoyed that the room was clean and all of the towels were nice and fresh. There were a few like sticker tape marks on our shower floor, but I didn’t mind this because the water was very hot. The bed and everything in the room was super clean and tidy it gave off the vibe of a sweet.
Although you do have to pay a $50 charge when you arrive to hold your room or whatever. I still haven’t received the $50 back on my card and if I don’t receive it today I will be calling. But other than that, I really enjoyed the stay.
Tom from the front desk made our experience so special! He is warm, accommodating and helpful! The rooms were clean and spacious. The open concept of the room does lack privacy but we made it work! The location is walkable to a plaza with many food and drink options and the bus stop that takes you to New York City. Would definitely stay again thanks to the awesome hospitality we received! The staff at this location are some of the kindest people I've ever interacted with at any hotel. They truly went above and beyond. I cannot comment on the breakfast or other amenities as we did not use them. Five stars solely based on the room and staff. I wish every hotel had staff like the people that work here. ????
Asner and Keys were amazing! Everyone on staff was friendly but those two made the trip awesome. We were a large group of 9. They gave directions, recommendations and always greeted warmly as we moved about for our trip!
Absolutely disappointing for such a big hotel chain. No follow up at all after sending down an email about how the things panned out at the hotel. Making it right for the clients in the service industry is of paramount importance. The GM Vanessa emailed to know about the experience and after we told our concern, no reply or follow up was done. I have stayed at Aloft hotels in Dubai and Malaysia before and had some of the best experiences with the them but after this stay at aloft secaucus meadowlands has a left a bitter experience.
The staff is amazing! Mario, Marabelle, and Asner are always delivering a great experience. They make feel welcome and like part of the family. I sure wish the bar had Tito’s though. Aside from that…the best!
We were there for convention at meadowlands exposition centre and thought this looked like a unique hotel. Front desk staff were great. Service staff great. Like the room layout of king room with bed off the shared wall and separate toilet to have use of shower and sink al the time. Small touches of maintenance are needed in the room we were in but staff worked to try and adjust things their maintenance staff is super accommodating.
