Best WLM Reviews

Convenient location close to Microsoft. Walking distance to public transportation, retail and good restaurants. Rooms are clean and well stocked. Service at front desk was also very good. Would come back again if need to stay in the area.
I've been here one night and already this is the worst stay I have ever experience at a hotel. Hotel of the future? NO WAY. What they advertise online is NOT what they provide. When I booked online it was advertised a complimentary continental breakfast - nothing provided but a little market where you pay for overpriced snacks. They also advertise complimentary coffee and tea but charged me $4 for a cup of hot tea and lemon wedge. The staff at the front desk and in the bar are rude (save one really nice woman who did her best to accommodate when the front desk staff didn't). The nighttime activities outside the "U" shaped hotel make sleeping almost impossible as you constantly hear the slap of cornhole games. The toilet doesn't flush all the way - so you waste water flushing it 2 or 3 times. The rooms have a terrible set up with a tabletop over the air conditioning, so anything you set on that table top would get moist. I ordered breakfast via their online ordering service and then two seconds later got a call that the kitchen was closed for cleaning and could not complete the order (maybe shut down your ordering service or put of a notification?). If I could give it negative stars I would.
Nice and clean. Very modern and somewhat minimalist feel, which adds to a nice open feel, though the rooms are smaller than you think. Plenty of outlets and food use of pass through plugs for the alarm clock. I do wish the rooms had microwaves and I was a bit confused about the of the shelf mini fridge shoved under the sink. The food and drinks at the WXYZ lounge in the hotel were great, though the drinks were significantly higher priced than expected. Thankfully the food was very reasonably priced and of much better quality than expected. The 3rd floor patio is definitely a nice little quiet haven, with a fire pit and covered BBQ area. The enclosed pool was a nice touch, not large, but big enough to be fun.
Aloft is a pretty nice hotel. I would stay again. However, we were unlucky with the thermostat. The air condition was either too cold or too hot. They also increased the pet fee to $50 a night and that is a bit steep for any pet lovers that wanted to stay in aloft. The mattress also caused back pain for us which is rare in hotels for us. The pool is mostly for kids because it's tiny. However, it's very convenient for people who work at Microsoft and it's not too far from Seattle downtown! The bar at the bottom is staffed with friendly people and have retro arcade games to play between two people. Overall it was a good experience. I just wish it was not so expensive for the pet.
Brief stay (two nights) - required a hotel that had good access to downtown but also the north-eastern suburbs and Aloft Redmond fit the bill. I value a quiet, modern hotel that offers a sound sleep and wasn't disappointed.
When I arrived (an hour after check-in) my room wasn't ready, yet without hesitation the front desk clerk upgraded me to a similar yet larger room on the top floor and apologized for any inconvenience - now that's proper service.
Hotel lobby/bar area is very nice - broad and open space, comfortable seating, free retro arcade games, and a decent selection of spirits and beers alongside some quick-purchase coffee and beverage section. Neat decor that combined a music theme with 'tech' styling - given the proximity to Microsoft and that I imagine many business visitors to it may stay at Aloft, the 'tech bro' decor made sense.
Room was very large, very clean, and very comfortable. Decor is sparse (as in none to speak of whatsoever) but the quality of the bed, bathroom area, and immaculate condition of the space more than compensated.
Parking was easy to access and there's plenty of it - absolutely no complaints there.
A very fine hotel overall, though prices seem to vary greatly depending on date, rather like one might find in a downtown hotel or a resort in Las Vegas; I'd suggest booking well ahead to try to avoid this issue. For the price I paid ($250 USD per night) I consider the hotel exceptional - if I had to pay what I have seen room rates listed for on some other days ($350 to as much as $375 per night), I'd have been underwhelmed.
Overall, very much recommended based on my brief stay.
I had a really great at this hotel. I stayed here for a week and this has been the best stay among all the Alofts I have experienced. The customer service was impeccable, my room was really clean, and the noise was almost non existent. One of my pet peeves is being able to hear cleaning staff in the mornings, people in rooms beside me, or people talking loud in the hallways. I didn't hear either and it made my sleep that much better. Also, this hotel out of all my stays with Marriot Bonvoy went above and beyond to share their appreciation for my platinum status. I really loved that.
Service was amazing. Reception folks were so warm and accommodating. They really made it feel like home. The location is just apt if you’re here for a work trip in Microsoft. Room service was also amazing. Always returned to clean and nicely tucked bedsheets.
Solid 3.5 stars.
Hip and funky, with some classy touches like cucumber-infused water complimentary at the lobby. But for a suburban location, parking should be included. $15 underground if you can’t find free side street parking, quite safe in this business plaza area.
Rooms spacious though heavy squeaky sliding doors for washroom. Plenty of storage and desk space.
Trendy fireplace and lots seating lounges both floors, including the 2nd floor with a good sized full gym with free weights.
Just sucks nowadays to charge for bottled water but $6!?
Comfortable beds for sure.
Pool nice with music in background but no hot tub. Great that plenty pool towels provided.
