Stayed here for Orlando Pride with some friends—glad we chose this hotel! Great location, and service was fantastic. Only had one minor billing issue that was resolved quickly by staff.
As a Platinum member, I really felt the Elite treatment at this property more-so than many others. The food credit was very generous and the staff was so accommodating! I wish I had remembered to grab the names of all the lovely staff but Leo who helped with our checkout was very knowledgeable and friendly during our stay and we are very thankful!
We definitely plan on returning again sometime!
Hotel is located in the old utilities building in downtown Orlando. Easy walk to performing arts center and downtown attractions. Loved the retro architectural vibe of the building. Rooms a bit cold in feel rather than cozy, but the warmth of the staff made up for it! Will stay here again.
We were staying at this location for a wedding in the area. I have to stay that out of the Marriott's I have stayed this is one of if not the nicest one. I love the convenience of where it is in proximity to a lot of places downtown. They do have a valet service but we mostly walked to a lot of the places that we needed to be. The staff is really great. The room was extremely nice. There are several sitting areas and our room boasted two TVs. So I could watch something without disturbing my wife.
Most hotels at this price range are in desperate need of a renovation. Usually they all have a similar stale smell in the dated carpet. We enjoyed the fresh look and feel of this one. Check in was quick. Check out was even quicker. While checking in, we were asked if we preferred a low or high level room which made me realize I've never been offered that choice before. We chose high. Nice view of downtown. Our do not disturb sign was respected. 0 complaints from my experience. Spent our last night with a drink at the bar and used their pool table. I visit Orlando almost every other year and this will not be the last time I choose the Aloft downtown. We originally chose it because of the reviews and they are right. Seeing that their last 1 star review was last year says a lot about the changes they have made.
Clean, affordable, great vibes, comfy beds. And, I love the collaboration with the local animal shelter. Every staff member was helpful and nice. Thanks for a nice weekend stay.
By far my favorite Aloft stay yet. The magic started with my wonderful front desk experience, I was helped by Denise and she was truly an angel. I had mentioned it was a birthday trip and she went the extra mile to make this an unforgettable stay. From check in to check out, she made my family and I feel so special this weekend. She is truly an example of southern hospitality. Marriott is extremely lucky to have a professional like her. She leads by example. The valet staff was also a pleasure. I can’t wait to come back to this property! The location, rooms, amenities were also 10/10. We were delighted to know it was a pet friendly hotel, thank you for going the extra mile!
Amazing Stay for a Celebratory Moment!|My mom and I chose to stay at this hotel because of its proximity to Winnie Palmer. My sister just had a baby! So we are a first time Aunt and Glamma! We LOVE our room! It’s so spacious! Check-in was a breeze and the front desk person was very kind! Tonight, my mom and I had dinner and drinks at the bar and Baron was the kindest, sweetest, hospitable bartender ever! We had an awesome conversation with him! His service was above and beyond! He is wonderful! We loved sitting at the bar! We loved our food too! It was delicious and the cocktail Baron made me was incredible! We already can’t wait to come back again! Thank you for making this special occasion in our lives so wonderful! We appreciate it so much and this experience will stay with us for life!
Check in was quick and easy.|The room was nice, the bed was comfy.|The pool area was clean and the water was refreshing. |We went to the WXYZ Lounge and it was very busy since there was a big concert in town. The bartender LaBeth didn’t miss a beat. She was very friendly and efficient. Thanking us for our patience as we placed our order. |Carlos brought out our appetizers and then our dinner. He was also very friendly, and kept checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed. We were pleased with the food and drinks as well as the staff |Members LaBeth and Carlos who were so welcoming and professional.
