Best WLM Reviews

I have to start off my review with giving the highest praise to the staff! I checked in on Thursday, November 7 and to the woman that was at the front desk that checked me in and talked to me several times throughout the night as I come and went, I will literally use this hotel again simply for her hospitality. She was so gracious and so friendly and she needs to be recognized that she is the face of your company and she is doing a stellar job. Secondly, I came into Newport because I was going to a concert in Cincinnati and this hotel was absolutely perfect. It is honestly less than a mile from anything that you want to go to. The hotel, my first reaction was how it smelled so good! Not like cleaning material but like just a really good perfume. Mixed with the trendy neon lights at a very retro club feel. But when I got to my room, everything was accessible and comfortable. The beds were super comfortable. The room was so modern and clean. Some of the reviews talked about noise, but I was there for two days and did not hear a thing. I felt super cozy and safe here and if I was to ever come back to this area, I would 100% stay here again.
We stayed at this hotel this past week and it was great. We went to go specifically to a Reds game. The hotel was very clean. The front desk staff was very accommodating. Our flight landed early so she got us in our room early which we were so grateful for. Lanae Nicholson helped us out with places to eat and things to do. She was super nice. We left our luggage until our room was available. The stadium is an easy walk from this hotel just right over the bridge and lots of things to do around the area within walking distance.
I've stayed at this hotel 4 times this Summer. I used to really look forward to it, until my most recent stay in late August. I arrived at the hotel close to 5pm and was told my room wasn't ready yet. Apparently they had just been sold and the new owners immediately fired the cleaning staff. Wasn't a big deal as I was headed to a concert. Got back around 11pm, and everything was ready. I find it interesting to see the recent complaints about dirty rooms and either poor cleaning service or none at all. Why fire a cleaning staff that had previously been doing a great job, and now have these issues? Also, like some others here, I too was charged a second time for my late August stay. They did it on Sept 3rd. Management blames the credit card processing company. As others have stated, Management does not return phone calls regarding this issue. You have to stay proactive and follow up. Final call after 2 weeks of dealing with this, Steve, the GM stated I would need to take it up with my bank because he is still waiting on a resolution from credit card processing company. The obvious resolution, is to refund everyone for the additional unauthorized charges. Guess I have to find a different place to stay now.
The staff at the front desk were extremely friendly and professional. However, the AC unit didn't always match the thermostat display. The water pressure was also inadequate, but the bathrooms were great. On the bright side, everything was very clean. I am bald so the water pressure thing wasn't a big deal breaker for me but for most men or women with a thick head of hair they need that high pressure in the shower so that can be a deal breaker. Would I stay again Yes I probably would.
Spent a couple of nights to do some exploring of Cincinnati.
Great location. We walked around the area and enjoyed some dinner and drinks one evening and breakfast one morning. We took the trolley into Cincinnati. Only $1 for that. We ended up walking back to the hotel. It was cool walking across the bridge.
Great staff. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful.
The hotel was a good choice for us. I liked the location being a bit removed from the hustle and bustle of DT Cincinnati, yet so easy to make your way to the heart of it all.
Easy parking and only $10 a night
Stayed at Aloft on the Levee for a short weekend wedding. The rooms were so comfortable and clean. The staff was helpful. Wxyz lounge was nice but the tables were sticky and it was not a clean area with food on the floor etc.
Topsy Turvy Room
I Have Never Stayed in Kentucky, but If You Haven't Stayed Right Across from Cincinnati, You're Missing Out!**
I recently stayed at the Aloft Newport on the Levee, and I must say, it was an experience to remember! The location is fantastic—right across the river from Cincinnati, with stunning views and plenty to explore nearby.
Upon arrival, I found it a bit tricky to figure out parking since there are no stopping signs where you’d typically unload your bags. However, there's a garage available for just $10 a night, which is a great deal! Just push the button at the entrance, and the front desk will let you in—no room key needed. A tip I wish I had known beforehand!
The lobby is vibrant and well-decorated, featuring a Times Square-style news scroller. I was warmly welcomed by Lacey, who was friendly and professional. She accommodated my requests with a smile, making my check-in experience delightful. There is also a very nice outside area with giant connect 4, a pool table inside and a heated pool. There is a nice relaxing area and ever has a fire pit.
My room, 501, was clean and comfortable, with a nice view of the German restaurant next door. There were a few quirks—most notably, the TV channel guide was completely wrong! It was amusing, but definitely something that needs fixing. Also, the shower water was a bit too cold for my liking. I mentioned this to the manager, who assured me he would look into both issues.
The hotel’s location is a major highlight. You’re within walking distance of numerous restaurants, entertainment venues, and breathtaking views. Don’t miss the chance to stroll across the bridge to Cincinnati, especially at night!
Overall, thanks to Lacey's outstanding customer service, I would definitely stay here again. I hope the shower temperature and TV situation are resolved by then. Highly recommend this hotel for a fantastic stay!

The staff were friendly and the lobby was super cute… but the room was terrible & the walls are very thin. The sink drained extremely slow. I could hear every step of the people above me all night long. Housekeeping was in the hallway and I was at the desk in front of my window, yet I could hear their entire conversation. It took a while for the Ac/heater to work and the lightening was terrible. I was so grateful that I had only booked 1 night there!
