Best WLM Reviews

Let me start with the fact that when you pull up... there is no parking. They did not tell us before we got there but there is MANDATORY VALET. It costs $44 a night! The valet guy was rude. Got a text around 9pm stating my car had been "safely parked in the garage" and asking for a tip. The only good part about this place was the bartender! She was amazing. Woke up the next morning to a call from the front desk asking if I could move my car! I thought I paid you to park my car! No.. it is still sitting on the side of the street where I left it because the valet guy can't drive a manual. Ok. I'll move it... and leave but I want my $44 back. Nope. Can't give it back. Still used their parking. Really?!?! We will NOT be back!
The hotel is old but painted and gives a modern feel in the rooms. Everyone that works here that we encountered were nothing but nice and friendly!
The bartender Lisa, it’s about the kindest person I’ve ever met and made our stay extra special ❤️❤️! On one of the nights Tori Allen was singing, what a night!! Thank you for providing live music.
No it’s not a new hotel but the price and location was great for us! We will definitely return
My 3-night stay at Aloft Nashville was not a good experience.
Here's an example of the typical service at Aloft Nashville:
Me: "Can you tell me where the nearest mailbox is?"
Staff: "Yes." (silence)
Me: "Ummm, where is that?"
Staff: "Right here." (Makes no gesture where "here" is, sitting on the desk looking at her phone.)
Me: "Here at the desk?"
Staff: "Yes." (Points to area behind the desk.)
(I mailed a postcard to my niece, which she has never received.)
The front desk service was indifferent, unhelpful, and generally "I don't want to be here." The exception was a short interaction with the bar staff (bartender?), who was so nice and helpful. Oh, also a young gentleman who was doing something in the kitchen was very nice.
Our room was quite large, and the beds were very comfortable, yet the pillows were awful - so lumpy, and the pillowcases didn't fully over them.
Food service was pretty awful. They were out of everything, the woman in the kitchen taking orders was not happy to be there, and you unfortunately had to ask her for simple things to make a basic coffee.
I called down one evening to see if they had any silverware and was told, "I am all alone." We ate our pasta with a spoon, and the next morning, we saw forks and knives in the dining area, which I wish she would have just said I could come down and get if she was all alone.
I won't stay at this property again.
Well located hotel if you are in Nashville. The building could use a good cleaning on the exterior. WXYZ bar area was nice and the had some live music. Lobby area was tired and the whole area was very dark with a lot of black paint. It could use a refresh with brighter colors. Valet service was great but mandatory at a price if $44.00 + tax/day (very hefty). Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the location was perfect for a nice walk down to the action but far enough away nit to have crowds.
Aloft is a great place if you are looking for a hotel close to Broadway. This is more of a trendy place with trendy Nashville based decor. There is a small bar in the lobby area, and it has a wonderful rooftop lounge, with a small kitchenette located right beside the door to the rooftop. The rooms were nice and clean with great views. The staff were nice and courteous. It does not have a microwave in the room, but there is one in the lobby for use. Valet parking is a must at $45. We went during the week, so it wasn't busy at all, and we had the whole rooftop to ourselves. I was traveling with small children and saw one more child during our stay there. However, I'm not sure if this would be the best place for kids on a weekend. I can see it being very busy considering its location. The shower was amazing. The water pressure was wonderful and the water was very hot. It was one of the best hotel showers I have ever had.
Everything about the hotel was amazing from staff to my room I wanted to say thank you to all the staff and especially Heysam the valet driver. He was very kind and helpful, made me and my husband feel very welcomed. Keep doing what your doing we really thank you Heysam!!!
We swapped from a hotel on 4th Ave to stay at this hotel. I'm sooooo glad we did. Ms Edmonds took such good care of us. She made sure we were happy with the room and offered an upgrade free of charge if we weren't. Our furbaby, who usually barks at anyone that comes close to me that she doesn't know, never made a sound with the staff. Our room was close to the elevator which was great as I'm disabled and have very limited mobility. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and after we checked out, we noticed that they took off the charge for valet and refunded a purchase made from the front desk market area. They will get our business for every single trip me make to Nashville! Great service still exists!
I just want to thank Heysam the valet driver for your professionalism and the care you put into your work. It’s employees like you that elevate the overall experience for customers. I will certainly remember your exceptional service the next time I visit, and I’ll be sure to recommend your valet service to others.|Wishing you all the best, and thanks again for everything.
