Through Groupon I have stayed here three times now, the rooms are clean and the service on the second floor as well as the atmosphere here is great! However, they do charge $30 per night for parking which I personally was not aware of nor ever charged until my last stay earlier this month, when I was charged for the three nights there.
I did call and spoke to someone who explained to me that this is an accurate charge however because it was my first time ever hearing of this as well as being charged for this he went ahead and refunded me for the parking charges.
If the parking fees go down I will absolutely go back!
Also there's a great taco spot right next door.
Service is poor. Unapproved charges were made to my card and despite multiple calls and emails, I was unable to resolve the issue. The manager, Brandy Clarke, never got back to me. I will never stay at Aloft Hotel Aventura again. Do not recommend.
We recently stayed at Aloft Miami Aventura, and it was a great experience. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed.
The location is unbeatable, just minutes away from Aventura Mall and plenty of dining options. It’s also convenient for exploring Miami and Fort Lauderdale.
Whoever was a manager on duty b/w 1pm and 1:30pm on Nov 7, 2024 should realize that she is working in a hospitality industry and adjust her manner of talking to clients accordingly. Beside that, hidden fees were charged from my card without authorization almost 2 hours after check in. I was informed of room rate, taxes etc and that my total bill was supposed to be $x. Later I learn that they charged my card another time for undisclosed fees at almost half of the total stay price(as a separate transaction). If you actually want to have a good time and not have to deal with bs after the stay go elsewhere. Aloft should work on transparent billing practices and get a manger that is actually competent in her job and is able to deal with clients.
Positive: Great Location, comfortable, great pool, they have washer and dryer, they give complimentary toothbrush, toothpaste, waterbottles, the shampoo products are great. Truth is totally worth it for $--- a night compared to other hotels. Negative: Just wish the lighting in the room was briter
It took me about 20 minutes of circling the building to find parking. After parking and walking to the hotel, the staff informed me that I would have to go back to the parking garage and change my parking level.
They then mentioned that parking is $30 a night. This was not listed on the website, and puts me over the maximum allowance per my companies policy.
As a Gold Elite member I was told I would receive a welcome gift and a room upgrade of available. The staff offered me no gift, mentioned no upgrade, did not explain if breakfast is included, what time breakfast is served, nothing of the hotel explained at all.
The room is very small and simply awkward. Terrible location, as it’s not easy to get in/out of the hotel. I’ve seriously considered finding another hotel. I won’t be back.
Please be more clear as to where to park. My husband and I were trying to find parking in this already tight space. We find a parking garage that’s “across from the hotel”. Turns out we ended up being in the Parksquare residence garage instead. Another dropped ball was the Parksquare attendant let us in without any hesitation (big safety issue on their end). When we arrived to the hotel everything was clean but the space is VERY small. Upon are time to leave we had to again call the hotel attendant because we had no access to the garage that we parked our vehicle. We called the hotel to see what was going on and ended up being told we parked in the wrong garage. The park square resident garage only opens and closes with a pass. So my husband and son were stuck outside at 3 am walking around and very confused. A security was able to help but this was a major turn off and enough for us to not want to use this hotel again. It’s too busy and in the middle of a restaurant and shopping center. I literally could have booked a hotel in New York and wouldn’t have had half the issue.
I have to be honest. Not always a fan of the alofts but the location of this one is perfect. So many good places to eat and shop within walking distance. Now only if you could quite the screaming ac units in the rooms. It was tough to sleep the first night because of that.
