We had a great stay at the Aloft here in Long Island City. The area is very convenient to local coffeeshops, restaurants, book stores, transportation, etc. You can be in the city within 5 minutes once you are on the train. Staff here is extremely friendly and welcoming. I know it is part of their job being in the hospitality industry but they got us anything that we needed very quickly and made amazing recommendations. Rooms are clean, views were great from our room, and I cannot wait to come back. If you're on the fence, I would highly recommend staying here opposed to any of the hotels in Manhattan. Way more space, less chaotic, and central to everything you need.
The front desk people were awesome, very helpful and friendly. they took great care of us. The hotel was clean and cozy they have an amazing view from the 18 floor. They have a very good location near to the subway. I would definitely look forward to stay there again
This was a GREAT hotel. Clean. Quiet. Comfortable. Rooms were maintained very well. Breakfast was simple but satisfying and got us going each morning, especially the coffee. It was bold, flavorful and fresh - definitely NOT the norm in most hotels.

I had a wonderful stay at the Aloft Hotel! The room was spacious, modern, and spotless, making it the perfect place to unwind. The location is excellent—close to everything I needed. A special shoutout to Sidney, the overnight manager, who went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and answered all my questions with a friendly attitude. The hotel’s clean and stylish vibe, coupled with outstanding service, made my stay truly memorable. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!
Having recently stayed in the Aloft Long island City - Manhattan View on two occasions ( six nights and one night) I have decided it is my favorite New York Hotel. Rooms are well-appointed comfortable and spotlessly clean and so are the bathrooms., The staff throughout the hotel are so welcoming and helpful. Particular kudos to Joel and Kiara at the front desk. I heartily recommend this hotel and will go back again and again on my twice yearly visits to New York.
Great location with breathtaking view of the Manhattan skyline. I really enjoyed my nights there which were surprisingly quiet. The best of all was Urna who take care of the breakfast area most mornings. Her efforts were highly appreciated.

If you are of color they make you feel very unwanted Uncomfortable Especially if you have children not a good place to Break your family or spend your money The front desk manager That's there during the morning and the beginning of the afternoon She's a lady with little red lips and a big attitude.

The aloft , was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for the entire stay. The front staff was amazing making everything easy and very helpful in many ways. Amazing views of Manhattan. Would highly recommend staying here.
