Best WLM Reviews

I want to give this a 5 star review, the rooms were clean, modern, comfortable, the service was great, but unfortunately I could not sleep during the night because the heater made a loud grinding sound all night. I think the motor bearings might be worn out or improperly lubricated. It was a constant 51-52 dB, which doesn’t sound like much but it’s very loud for a nighttime environment. (For reference, the sound stays at 34 dB when the heater is off). It might have just been that one room (204), but I have to imagine all the rooms get the same maintenance so I hope they can fix it. I would stay there again but not until I know the heater/AC has been addressed.
We stayed at the location for 3 night and would definitely come back. From the time we checked in the lady at the front desk had a big smile on your face. I wish I would have gotten her name until the time we checked out. The rooms are small but it was CLEAN!!! And that’s what i care about most!! It’s a shopping center so it’s a few restaurants you can get food at. Rights across the street from Toyota music factory. This location is A+++ And please thank the ladies at the front desk. She was training another lady which was great to.
Hotel is pretty new. If you've stayed at an Aloft before this one is pretty much the template for it. Check in went well, staff is friendly. They have a pretty good gym and pool. Bed is comfortable. Only downside to Alofts in general is that you don't get free breakfast. Lots of good places to eat just outside the door though and a short walk away from a ton of stuff over by the Toyota Music Factory.
I stayed here for 2 days while my house was getting re-painted. I have stayed at many aloft locations around the country and this is by far the worst one yet. In hindsight, I would have rather stayed at home and inhaled paint fumes than stay at this hotel.
The biggest issue is the lack of customer service. The manager here is extremely rude and arrogant. I booked a room on the Marriott app, marked I was bringing a pet, and the app showed there would be a $25 fee per night which I had my card on file to pay. I checked in with my dog and a couple hours later the manager calls the room very angry, claiming they didn’t know we had a pet, wanted us to come downstairs immediately. I was not at the hotel at the time so my wife went downstairs but they refused to talk to her because “her name wasn’t on the reservation”. When I got back I showed the manager how I booked on the Marriott app and it showed a pet fee on my charges, and he still acted like they had no idea and implied this was my fault.
Other than that, the hotel lacks amenities and the ones they do have are not maintained correctly. 1. We have a 6 month old baby and requested a crib, they brought up a pack and play crib that had no mattress, instead they gave us a few pieces of cardboard wrapped with a blanket to use as a mattress. The cardboard was not stable and seemed dangerous for my son to sleep on so we did not use it and had him sleep in the bed instead.
2. The pool was green and filthy in the middle of the summer when people would actually want to use it
I would not stay here again.
Rude management, not your typical Aloft stay. Avoid if you can!
If you are looking for your usual great Aloft hotel experience, you will not find it here. Aloft touts they are dog-friendly, and normally allow dogs to stay for free, but this one charges a pet fee. We chose to stay here anyway assuming we would have a great experience as we normally have at Aloft locations across the country. Booked via the Marriott app, stated that we were bringing a dog, paid the $25 per day fee, and brought our dog through the front door at check in.
I asked the front desk clerk to bring a crib for my 6-month old, and my dog was in the room when they brought it. Not 5 minutes later, the hotel manager calls the room angry, accusing me of hiding our dog, and demanded I come downstairs immediately to pay the pet fee and sign a form. My husband booked the room so I assumed he overlooked paying the fee and I went downstairs to gladly pay. Keep in mind, for 5 years, we have been bringing our dog to Aloft hotels.
Called my husband to confirm and he says no, we already paid the pet fee on the app. Awkward! I go downstairs anyway to clarify with the hotel manager and he angrily states he will be charging our card on file the $50 pet fee for our 2-night stay, even though we already paid it on the app, and that I can take it up with my card company for a refund. So rude! Call my husband again because the hotel manager switches up and says I’m not allowed to speak to him on the matter (my name was not on the reservation initially), and my husband tells him again that we already paid.
Not to mention that the pool is bright green, filthy, and the hotel is run down. We saw another child fall on his face in the lobby from tripping on the loose transition strips between carpet and slab floor. Not dog or kid friendly.
Do not stay here. I have had a reservation booked and have literally tried for 7 days to get ahold of this hotel. I had to call a while back and add dates to my reservation, which come to find out did not go through which is why I had to cancel and book somewhere else last minute. You can't get anyone to answer the phone, even left messages for the "manager" at the executive line. I finally got ahold of someone and was told there will be a cancellation fee for cancelling so close to the reservation, even though I have been trying to contact someone for the last week.
They lied to me
I had a reservation for 3 nights
They were over sold
They told me there was no running water
And was told to go to another hotel
In the middle of the night
I was exhausted after a late flight
My friends checked an hour later and they got the
Room reserved for me
No ethics at all
They don’t care for their customers
they did not inform prior to check in. they should have called or texted the customer if they knew they had a issue,
its all lies and more lies. please donot stay at aloft.
Terrible service! Carpet was buckled in my room, no USBs worked, the mini frig froze my lunches SOLID, gym super dirty, Stains on carpets in halways, only make bed, not change sheets or vacuum every other day. Everything about this place sucked. Called manager twice, never returned call, sent email and they responded to that, but response was that it must be me.
