I was charged twice for an incidental fee (I’m sure it was an accident) so I called to get it resolved as I had no damage done to my room. The front desk employee, Danielle, was very kind and tried to help me but she ultimately had to transfer me to a sales management employee by the name of Crystal. I explained to Crystal that I was charged twice for incidentals and that I was more than happy to send her a screenshot from my bank to prove this. She was extremely rude, told me that it couldn’t be true, and was very unhelpful and unprofessional. I think anyone would be concerned and/or upset about an unauthorized charge on their debit card. I just found the way Crystal handled this concerning situation to be dismissive and she also hung up one me after telling me that the general manager was out for the day. I have never had any issues at any hotel, but I will never forget that way that someone treated me. I’m waiting for a response from the GM as I left him a voicemail, and I will not be returning to stay at this Aloft location.

I'll start with the great....I'm a world traveler and this shower....oh, this shower was absolutely EPIC! I didnt want to get out of it.
The rooms are small but well designed. The lighting, however is poor. My room was either blazing bright from the sun and reflection of a rootfop across from me or dark. More lighting would have been great. Terrific location to walk to a lot of restaurants and safe area. Street noise (I live in a forest) took a bit of getting used to. Sweet and attentive staff; especially the young man with curly hair who works nights. Overall a great stay and would stay here again when I visit Mayo Clinic.
I recently stayed at Aloft Jacksonville Tapestry Hotel and it was an incredibly disappointing experience.
Upon arrival, I found dead bugs on the window sill, which was a clear indicator of the lack of cleanliness and attention to detail in the room. The bed sheets were visibly not the cleanest, and the bathroom seemed like it hadn't been properly cleaned.
Throughout my two-day stay, I had continuous issues with the toilet. When I reported this to the staff, I was told that "that's how it is." Despite requesting to be moved to another room, I was informed that the hotel was fully booked and they couldn't accommodate my request.
When I asked for the room to be cleaned, the manager came and simply wiped away the dead bugs and handed me four free water bottles, which felt like a very minimal effort to address the issue.
Due to the late hour and my need to be close to my early morning destination after a nearly 5-hour drive, l was unable to move to another hotel.
Overall, my stay was extremely unsatisfactory. The lack of cleanliness, poor customer service, and inadequate response to issues made for a highly unpleasant experience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and will not be returning.
Quaint dog FRIENDLY hotel, maybe overly friendly. They give dogs a bag of treats at check in & are welcoming to them throughout the entire stay.
Hotel staff were extremely pleasant & actually seemed happy about their jobs.
I didn’t care for the layout of the rooms- something about it seemed off.
The grounds were well kept & the area where the hotel is located is great!! There’s plenty to do& the rates were practical.
Breakfast isn’t included- raise the rate a few bucks & include breakfast ????????♀️

The hotel looks nice and the staff is friendly, but the rooms leave something to desire.
There are no drawers to put clothes in, only a closet with a shelf and a few hangers. There is a desk and a desk chair, but no chair to just sit and relax. There is a padded bench but it's not very deep, the back is at an uncomfortable angle and it is directly underneath the TV. There is no microwave in the room. There is very little sound proofing in the room. You hear every thing in the hallway, nearby rooms and bar downstairs.
I wanted to try this brand for so long and… I’m done! No place to put your toiletries and no drawers for your clothes so you have to keep them in the luggage . While if you try to iron it, they have a steam iron that keeps the wrinkles as they are for ever so… you have to get use to the look! . Even the room space is minimal . As a Gold Elite, I deserve better!
The room was really clean and the beds are very comfortable. There is a Starbucks next door and some restaurants are in walking distance but other restaurants aren't very far away so it's in a very good location
