Had a predetermined idea of what this place would be like, but was wildly disappointed with this place.

Weak shower water pressure.
Leaky shower door with what everywhere in bathroom.
Slippery tile in shower.
Slow-reacting AC and heater.
Very small/tight and loud hotel hallways.
Loud outside noises, including 4:45 am trash pickup.

Good location in downtown. walkable to several restaurant and coffee shops. The tile in the shower can be slippery, and the shower head doesn't work too well. Front desk staff at night and morning are friendly and helpful.
Just stayed there recently and had the pleasure of meeting Pedro one night when I went to the bar. He was so cute and welcoming to El Paso and made my whole stay! :) Cant wait to come back to visit El Paso and stay at Aloft again!
We froze in the room and then we find out they make you pay $6 for coffee in the morning or make your own in your room in the nasty machine that doesn't look like it's been cleaned this year. Good location.
SO impressed with the service here! I came in late after a very long day driving cross county and obviously discombobulated (I am not a great long distance driver) and William met me at the front desk and got me taken care of with ease. He saw that I was unsettled and not only upgraded me to an amazing room in a quiet area where I could sleep well, but made sure that my car was well taken care of and made arrangements for it to be parked in a safe and well supervised area as it was packed to the gills during my long travel. Willam, thank you for making this leg of my travels easy, it was more than I could have hoped for after such a long day!
My partner and I stayed here at the start of May and the room was prepaid. I left my debit card for the deposit (was told not to leave credit) and after leaving my card was charged for the cost of the room. I am based in the UK and it is impossible to reach anyone at the hotel. I had to call 7 times just to be given an email address. I left my details 3 times and nobody ever called me back. Someone eventually got back to me to tell me the charges were being reversed but they sent me less money than they took so I am out of pocket for the calls and the charges! Tried to rectify this but nobody has been returning my emails. Reached out to customer care through instagram and the hotel keep closing my cases stating they’ve replied to my emails which isn’t true. Contacted customer care for the Marriot and still nobody has replied to me. The only way to get through to anyone is to call and I now have a phone bill of around £200 from trying to sort this all out when none of this is my fault. Not only is it illegal for you to charge me for a room but the customer service has been absolutely terrible. Could someone please contact me asap to sort this out.
I love staying at this aloft hotel. But be advised I am an early riser so I didn’t mind the sun streaming in or the garbage trucks at 5:30 AM. Yes, I could have closed the curtains (I fell asleep with them open) but next time I'll stay on a different side of the hotel!
