We stayed here for an NFL game and I'd say the location, although super awkward to access, is pretty good. Easy to Uber to Texas Live! Getting back after the game is a whole different ordeal though. (FYI....If you use the Arlington Trolley EVERYONE needs the app)
The room prices reflect the location I'm assuming because the service and quality are sub-par at best. I told the front desk after our first night that our refrigerator wasn't working. Nothing was done despite me following up. I told the front desk that our AC wasn't working well either. We couldn't get the room to cool down. The thermostat may not have been working? I dont know, but the staff just kept telling me the AC worked fine. We traveled with other couples so I do know that our AC wasn't working properly!
Then our last night there we got stuck in the elevator. The fire dept had to come to get us out. When the doors were opened the hotel staff actually said it was our fault...that we had too many people in the elevator. There were 8 of us and we didn't even come close to reaching the weight limit listed. Even so, don't blame the guests that were stuck in your elevator and then had to call 911 themselves.
There are a ton of options in this area. Pick a different place. This is the worst Aloft I've ever stayed in and mostly because the staff don't seem to care about quality.
Great customer service from front desk at check in. Polite, informative & accommodating. Check in fast & easy! They were so kind to allow me late checkout. Every staff member that I talk to was great (I wish I had all their names). I live in Grand Prairie, 15min away from hotel & wanted a night away from home. Bedding/pillows felt AMAZING!!! I had to ask where can I order the pillows from for my home! ONLY thing I didn’t like was no microwave in the rooms but I still enjoyed my stay!! Will definitely be back!!
Great for a short stay. The beds were kind of hard and my lock mechanism stuck. Not the best bedding. Family had to help me get out of my room all weekend. The outlets in the room were loose and i had to find one that worked.
This room wasn't huge, BUT it most definitely has everything you need. In shower toiletries, coffee bar, fridge, loveseat and it was very peaceful. So quiet you would think little Johnny is going to "redrum, redrum" you in the hallway with the twins.
It felt like I was the only person in the hotel. I don't know if I lucked out with room placement or had dead neighbors...but I'll take it.
This was the most horrible hotel experience I have ever had. 0 professionalism- i checked in after s long flight and the water system was not working. No one mentioned it at the front desk - every call i make they say “20 mins and it will be resolved” it had been 7 hours and no water still. The people who answer the lines told me no water to shower. I could come down to drink free water at the lobby? DO NOT BOOK THIS LOCATION

The Aloft Dallas Arlington Entertainment District is a minimalistic hotel where the rooms represent an Ikea style. The location was perfect for the MLB All-Star Game. It is also looked very new and extremely clean. The staff was very friendly.
The hotel had a pantry store, bar, pool table and other games, and nice modern seating on the first lobby floor. In the morning you can order a selected list of breakfast items. I had a breakfast sandwich and was pretty good. There is a nice sizable swimming pool but no spa. I like it where there was an outdoor shower with hot water to make it much better when exiting the pool to warm you up. They do provide towels. A fitness center is also available.
The room was allergenic where had a faux wood floor. The bed was comfortable and had a quiet mini fridge. The room was very modern and very cold where the AC worked too well. Everything worked in the room and there was even a hand steamer for your clothes.
The Arlington Trolley does stop here and noticed Tesla EV chargers outside. I felt very safe staying here and the WXYZ Lounge does serve some bar food but there are plenty of restaurants near this hotel, some walking distance.
We had a great stay and would do it again.
I’ve stayed at the Loft Arlington several times, the room s were very clean and I enjoyed the stays. This time however I was placed on the ground leval and the room was definitely sub-standard. There was water damage on the floor around the shower area and the cars in the parking lot, there light & noise came straight into the room
I have stayed here for business many times and recently noticed the hotel needs more attention on cleaning of the common areas, hallways and elevators. The benches outside in front are no longer pleasant to sit at due to very dirty floors where people have spilled drinks etc. forming a black gunk and it has not been cleaned in a while.
