We enjoyed our stay here. This was an easy find coming from the airport. The room itself was clean and spacious. There were lots of plug-in area which is important in this day and age. The bathroom was also spacious. One concern was the modern design allowed a crack of light from the bathroom to the bedroom which could be an issue for some. We were able to find parking easily. This hotel is located next to a shopping mall so not only was there a restaurant available in the hotel itself, there was a good variety of choices nearby as well. The bed was comfortable. The room pretty quiet so we slept well. I would stay again if I was in the area. For me the one issue is I like a bar of soap over body wash but that can be fixed and the sliding door was a bit noisy. Neither small issue was a deal breaker. Nice looking pool and outdoor space but we didn’t use either.
The staff at this hotel was friendly and accommodating, especially Rock, who went above and beyond to make my stay better. The front desk ladies were very helpful and pleasant also! Also, the older gentleman at the breakfast pickup window in the morning was very nice and funny!
However, the overall experience felt more like staying in a college dorm than a hotel. There were constant loud footsteps from the floor above, and the noise from the street, particularly near Pins, was loud late into the night. The doors also slam loudly, which added to the noise.
On the bright side, the location is fantastic and completely walkable with plenty of restaurants, activities, and sights nearby. However, the breakfast at Aloft was disappointing. You had to reserve it ahead of time, and it wasn’t worth the effort with the plan taste and the coffee taste like mud water. I recommend finding breakfast outside instead.
There’s a bar inside that looked nice, and the bartender seemed friendly as I walked past in the evenings. But if you’re looking for a peaceful night’s sleep, this hotel isn’t the best choice. Noise levels didn’t really settle down until around 2 a.m., especially if you’re on the Pins/RH side.
In summary, it’s great for the location and friendly service, but not ideal for a restful stay.
Perfect location for a stay in Easton. Room was clean and comfortable including the bathroom. The shower had slightly low pressure water but good temperature. It did have a metal drain cover that was rather noisy for a bit after turning off the shower as the water dripped onto it.
Parking garage nearby made it super easy to get in and out!
The manager was amazing. Helped me through some confusion with my check-in. But we got it fixed easy Peezy. It was a wonderful experience for my first time at this location. I have been to a loft locations. In other states. This is my first time here in Columbus and this has been my best experience with a loft hotels ever.
The staff is very friendly. An they treat you like your family. The rooms are very clean. The bartender Treeva was the best. Also the guy at the front desk , that checked us in and out was very friendly and nice. We will definitely back again
1st time in an aLoft and won’t be my last! Loved this quirky hotel! Staff couldn’t be friendlier. Very clean. Shout out to the Manager (so sorry I don’t recall his name) who made check in such a pleasure after a very long day! Amazing location in Easton! Check in and walk to dinner and shopping! Last, the Marshall speaker in the room was great! Special touch!
Aloft Rooms are always so small for me, but we were there as a team. Service was great as it normally is on Marriott properties.
The Bartender was amazingly great! Her attention to our team and individually was unmatched.
The location was also super convenient! Walked to lunch, dinner, and team building options. 7-10 mins from the CMH airport. Great location!
First time staying at this hotel. Loved the mobile key for the room. staff at the front desk were very nice. The main reason I’m writing this review is the bed was extremely comfortable and for that reason, I hope to stay there again in the future.
