Best WLM Reviews

Our shower was leaking like crazy into the bathroom and we had to use towels to block what we could. We tried angling the shower head too and nothing helped. We asked house keeping literally multiple times and never got towels. House keeping also never visited our room either.
"We're busy! It's a convention"
You should expect and prepare for this?
Front desk was nice but house keeping is extremely lack luster and were saying our orders were completed even though they never came. No knocks. Nothing.
Only stay here if you are by yourself. The hotel is nice but the walls are either paper thin or the hotel staff stereotyped us didn’t give us the benefit of the doubt after a douche called to complain to the front desk. I’m certain the front desk generalized us because we were in our 20s and it was 4 of us. We got the room as a back up in case we didn’t feel comfortable driving back after a night out. I’m sure they get some unruly guests due to the location but that’s shouldn’t be our problem. We were respectful and mindful there are other people at the hotel. When we got back to the room, we were talking, normal tone, nothing exciting. Soon after, we get a call from the front desk telling me that either we keep it down or we are going to get kicked out. That’s it. No benefit of the doubt and no waiting to hear our side. They just believed a douche staying next to us. We made sure we talked on a lower than normal voice afterwards to continue our conversation and soon after we get a knock on the door by the staff. We ignored them and went to sleep. If I pay over $100 for one night, I expect at least to be able to talk while I’m in the room I paid for. The fact that they took that incredibly rude approach of threatening us to kick us out right off the bat even though I’m should they could tell I wasn’t being combative, rude or loud took me by surprise. I should have left at that point and asked for a refund. Never staying here again.
To be honest, the honest the hotel is nice and clean and the people are amazing. In general, the room is also very very nice.
HOWEVER, there is just no good temperature on the shower, it’s freezing cold or boiling hot. This might not be a deal breaker for you, but for me it was absolutely terrible. Furthermore the room is very very noisy, I woke up multiple times in the night thinking someone had entered my room, but it was just a door somewhere else on the floor.
Also, the shuttle to the airport is quite nice. However it is very hard to get to this hotel from downtown.
Staying at Aloft Chicago O'Hare was an unpleasant experience.
I stayed there Oct 7-11 with my wife as she was attending a symposium for a couple of days and we decided to stay a couple of extra days to enjoy ourselves in Chicago.
Service was very poor to say the least.
One evening we were struggling to connect Netflix on the TV set in our room.
We decided to call reception to ask for help. We were told that help would be on the way asap. No one showed up!
A sheet of paper was left in the room with instructions that included how to proceed when we needed our room to be cleaned up.
I was very surprised to see that room cleaning was a service that had to be requested(!!) instead of us refusing it if we weren't interested.
On the fourth day of our stay we request room cleaning. I did it first thing in the morning at the front desk.
I saw the lady behind the desk writing it down (name and room number).
We arrived back at the hotel around 8pm and to our surprise nothing had been done.
We were pretty angry about this. Dirty towels, garbage bins were full etc...
We complained at the front desk and all they offered was fresh towels.
Someone came to drop off a couple of towels and while taking the garbage out spilt some of it right in front of the door.
We were shocked to see that no one cleaned it up until the last day of our stay.
Would not recommend this hotel. We only stayed there because it was a lot more convenient for my wife to commute to the venue of the symposium she was attending.
We just had an excellent business meeting experience at the Aloft Chicago O'Hare in Rosemont! The amazing Cristina Sposato, Director of Sales and MJ Chibe, Director of Food & Beverage were simply masterful in helping us plan and execute a successful two day session. The property is convenient to great restaurants (Truluck's, Carmine's, Portillo's) and steps from Fashion Outlets of Chicago and Stephens Convention Center. The guest rooms were clean, cool and well-appointed. If you need a great venue that's a short shuttle ride from O'Hare, the Aloft is perfect. Cristina and MJ choreographed every aspect of our meeting...the block of guest rooms, the spacious meeting room with A/V, meals, drinks and free WiFi. Everything was well managed by this friendly, efficient team!
My room was on the 3rd floor facing the outdoor patio with speakers. I heard the outdoor music literally all night. When I called the desk they said they had no control over the music outside, and later the front desk person said the music playing is policy, the "Aloft vibe". They could have changed my room or done something. Afterall I'm there to sleep. They lost my business.
Rooms were very clean and had the best price in the area. Location was great and convenient. Staff were courteous and prompt. I will definitely stay here again
Minimalist interior decor which was a bit awkward, but overall, a great stay. Very comfortable bed, feather pillows, first floor room with a pleasant view of a landscaped courtyard complete with rabbits and birds. Quiet, included daily housekeeping. Add in a competitive price point and it's a winner by a considerable margin over other older hotels in the vicinity.
