Quiet hotel with lovely Staff. Beds were very comfortable. Everything was clean. |Mohammad, the shuttle driver, was especially kind and accommodating. He made sure I was able to get food. He was very pleasant. Mohammad made my stay very enjoyable.
Calvin at the front desk was incredibly helpful and kind when I ran into some travel issues (unrelated to the hotel). I found the hotel to be very clean and the location was perfect next to the airport. As soon as I was ready, Calvin called the shuttle and it arrived within minutes. It was a short drive to the airport. Thank you for a great experience!!
I am an airline captain, I stay in a lot of hotels. Over the last few months our airline has been using this particular hotel for our layovers. I want to give a particular shout-out to this hotel and their staff and exceptional attitude. In particular I want to give a shout out to their van driver Moe. Moe is exceptional at his job as a flight crew member I stay in hotels where the van service is not very good. Moe is a very refreshing reprieve from what I typically expect from hotel van service. Moe is always extremely kind, friendly, safe, courteous. When I'm in the van with Moe I almost feel like I'm home with family. Moe, it is always a pleasure when you pick my crew up. Thank you so much for your hospitality words cannot begin to describe how grateful my crews are when you're at the wheel.
Marriott seriously needs to disassociate themselves from this property as it doesn’t live up to Marriott or Aloft standards. People not staying at the hotel wandering around the lobby and hotel, room was dirty and run down. TV didn’t work properly and room was 55 degrees when we checked in as the staff left the AC on. In Buffalo. In late November. Front desk was non responsive for some and slow when they did respond. Plenty of other great properties in the area. Stay at one of them.
Positive: N/A! Tried calling to confirm reservation but couldn't get through.23-min wait to get checked in because desk was unattended.Staff were lazy and unhelpful.Some wore uniforms, others didn't. A few didn't even have shoes on.Only 1 elevator was working Negative: Location was difficult to find because it is in a cluster of other Marriot buildings. Even Google couldn't help.The room was ice cold although the fan was off. No microwaveNever received $50 fee back although I left the room clean & undamaged.
This was a great hotel. The entire staff was super friendly and accommodating. Ms. Patt made a great breakfast. The hotel was clean and comfortable. A few things need a “freshen up but overall a very nice stay.|We would definitely stay again!
I am extremely disappointed with the parking experience at this hotel, and I feel compelled to share my frustration in hopes of preventing others from having the same unfortunate experience. My wife and I left our car parked at the hotel for five days while we were on vacation. Upon returning, we discovered that someone had broken off the door handle of our car and attempted to break into it. This was not only a violation of our property but also a violation of any reasonable expectation of security for a hotel parking lot.
I immediately went to the front desk to report the issue, and the staff member there provided me with the phone number for the General Manager (GM). I called the GM multiple times, leaving several messages, but I never received even the courtesy of a return call. It’s honestly unbelievable that after such a traumatic experience, I wasn’t even given the basic level of respect or acknowledgment from the hotel management.
What’s even worse is that we paid over $100 for the privilege of leaving our car in their lot, expecting it to be safe and secure. Not only did we not receive an apology, but there was also no offer of a refund or compensation for the damage done to our vehicle. To be clear, this is a hotel that claims to have parking available for guests, but it’s clear that their parking lot is far from secure.
The lack of response from the GM is also incredibly disappointing. To spend five days trusting the hotel with our car, only to come back to this situation and have our concerns completely ignored, is beyond frustrating. I would strongly advise against leaving your car in their parking lot unless you want to risk returning from your vacation to find your car damaged and have no one take responsibility.
This was a terrible experience and a very unpleasant way to return from a relaxing vacation. The lack of care and professionalism from both the hotel staff and the GM has left a sour taste in my mouth. I will never recommend this hotel, and I strongly urge anyone considering staying here to think twice, especially if you plan on using their parking services. This entire ordeal was a complete joke, and I hope others avoid making the same mistake I did.
Vibrant! Very attractive hotel with a lively bar and lounge area with a pool table, games, and many tvs for watching sports. Clean rooms and common areas.
The gym looks really nice and there is an indoor pool right outside of it. Located near the airport with a free shuttle.
The desk staff are kind and patient when assisting others.
There is a 24 hour store with snacks and breakfast is available for purchase. Their breakfast sandwiches are pretty good.
