I've stayed at least 10 hotels in the Austin area and this is by far the best one. They offer a great location with a trendy bar plus an amazing on-site restaurant and a coffee shop in the morning. Plus they combine that with the best water pressure in the shower, a sound machine in your room, mini fridge, and the ability to stream your own shows. This hotel really figured out how to combine a chic experience with the comforts that you're looking for.
First time staying at the Aloft Hotel and it won’t be the last! Phenomenal staff from valet, to front desk, to upstairs and Caroline and Caroline downstairs!
Jaydee went above and beyond to make my stay for my birthday extraordinary! She gave me the best check with a warm smile and bubbly personality I felt I was being welcomed by a life long friend! She gave me a room upgrade and wait for it…walked to my room with a hand written card and gift card for my birthday! Thank you so much I loved my stay and will be back again!
This was my first trip to Austin, and I am glad I stayed here. Kade was working check-in and was very welcoming and helpful! The rooms were nice, but had little lighting. The market, cafe, and restaurant insight were all wonderful for food and service. The location was very convenient for walkable options for food and bars nearby. Overall, this was a great stay.
Great service great people great set up. Love that the place is situated over Caroline with a bar on the second floor. Katherine was great.
One suggestion is to add more furniture into the king bed rooms. Felt a little empty and barely. A chaise or a sofa chair would've been appreciated
The Downtown Aloft could not be in a better location! The rooms are incredibly spacious, clean, up to date and have really good views. The staff is exceptional and hospitable especially Jedidah Who could not be more welcoming. I have stayed at this hotel on my last two separate work trips in the last five months and will continue doing so moving forward
Our stay was wonderful! Johnathan was a great help getting us checked in and even upgraded our rooms for us. We had a beautiful view! He also recommended some nice restaurants nearby and took the time to ensure I had a room near the elevator since I was on crutches. The air did go out one night, which was not ideal, given it was summer in Austin, but they were able to get it up and running again within a few hours, which I deeply appreciate! All-in-all, would stay again. Great service!
I had a great stay at Aloft Austin Downtown! The location is unbeatable right in the heart of the city with easy access to restaurants, bars, and live music. The room was clean, modern, and had a nice view. A special shoutout to Ken at the front desk she was incredibly friendly and welcoming, offering great local tips that really made my trip. Ken’s warm personality and attention to detail truly made the experience memorable. Thanks to Ken and the team for such a fantastic stay. Highly recommend!
My room was in the 31st floor. It was nice inside, but the window faced the window from another room (at, maybe, 10 feet/3m). Zero privacy... Really annoying.
The rest was good. Nice bed, good pressure in the shower.
Oh, maybe one last thing, there was no iron/ironing board, only a steamer.
The staff for the check-in was ok. Not great.
