Best WLM Reviews

Visited the Aloft Alpharetta Dec 8-9th. Just after checking in I got my luggage up to my room and then came back down to move the car. I moved to the electric vehicle charger and to my surprise it was not working. I then open the plug share web page and see there are reviews on the station dating back to August 2024 that say the charger hasn't worked since then. I booked this hotel specifically for the ability to charge my electric vehicle. The charger has a message that says something like "install not completed". This is unacceptable that the hotel would list this as an amenity at the time of my booking and not have a working station when I arrive. It's not exactly easy to charge electric vehicles when they are low on charge. If I were to run out at the hotel I would've had to have my car towed. I ended up having to take my car a few miles down the road to charge and wait for hours (with 2 kids under 10) while it charged. This could've been done when I was sleeping if the hotel maintains their amenities. Would not recommend this hotel, nor would I stay there again.
The management immediately resolved an issue I had with noise, gave me a beautiful new room that is very quiet. Wrote an apology note and made it right immediately!!
AMAZING SERVICE and amazing management from this Aloft location!
5/5 STARS! Thank you!!
This location is great with restaurants and retail surrounding it. The staff is always enjoyable and the atmosphere is laid back in the bar area. They even have pool tables in the lobby/lounge area. Solid fitness center as well. I stay here regularly when I come to Alpharetta.
Not the place to stay EVER! I stayed here after a concert event as the other hotels closer to the arena was booked. It had mixed reviews. I should have gone with the bad ones . One working elevator STILL. Very run down. Rooms are bare necessity. Beds were clean and so was vanity. I would not advise showering without shoes (I did not use the shower) or walking on carpet. Very loud even on an upper level floor. Parking at $32 is at your own risk and is open lot. No one ever answers the phone. Only place that looked like was being enjoyed was the bar area. Never Again.
Started from check in staffer was more interested chatting with a visitor then doing her job. |Stopped by the bar, which was closed at 8:20 allegedly open til 10. asked the desk if the bar was open for a glass of wine...got a shrug and an 'aw..I'd have to open the shelves'..I said forget it. Hallways smell like smoke. Will never be back nor recommend. Can't believe it's part of the Marriott portfolio.
This hotel is very contemporary. The colors the way the rooms are set up are unique. I like how different it is. The service was fine, and we did go to the bar for a drink, it was so-so.
Was pleasantly surprised by how spacious the room was, but disappointed that among all that space there was not an microwave in the room. The walls were also a little thin in the room. The breakfast situation was a little odd, instead of the typical continental hotel breakfast buffet it was almost like a fast food drive thru window, was not included in your stay, and was a little overpriced. The staff was nice but I didn't have much interaction with them.
It was okay. My company, was hosting an event and put a bunch of us here at the hotel and covered the cost of the room, however, when we checked in and they asked for credit card for incidentals, they charged us for the cost of the room and then charge us again for incidentals, apparently, the person that did the checking in wasn't sure how corporate rates work and charged us individually. It took about a week to get it all straightened out however; on top of that when we checked in the key card machine wasn't working, so we could not get keys to our rooms and had to be walked to our rooms, which as a woman traveling solo; even with my coworlers veing somewhere else in the building made me feel uncomfortable. All in all, the hotel itself is nice. The rooms are nothing extravagant. I did think it was a little weird that the mini fridge was in the bathroom under the sink with a hairdryer hanging above it when there was plenty of room in the room to find a place for it, there was dead space in the room it could have been placed in. The shower is small, and there is no place for you to have your own personal items. It's kind of forcing you to use what they have mounted to the wall, which I don't use because of skin sensitivity. So a little more thought could have gone into that, and the door to the shower opens in, so water gets on it as you're trying to start the shower. So that was a little because when you close the door, it's wet and dripping on the floor. None the less, I didn't have to pay for the room, so it was fine if I did have to pay for the room. I probably would not stay here again. The location was great, and we were able to walk to Food places and restaurants, and it was super close to my corporate office, but it would not have been my choice of a place to stay.
