The stsff and the nurse practitioner, Jessica Montemayor, were professional, knowledgeable and thorough. My daughter felt comfortable and really liked how she was treated by everyone at this office. Thank you for making my daughter feel safe and at home, she has never felt this way about any doctors office she has visited.
My son has been seen here since he was a baby and is now 8 back then is was a great place and I loved it…. In recent years it has gone down hill… and we have been growing weary of coming but yesterday my son had an appointment and I was told his insurance was inactive. I myself work the front office of a pediatric clinic and understand the different portals to verify… the receptionist assured me she checked to correct website and it was inactive I verified (through my own portal login) that this was inaccurate information. So I went back to the office since I myself and their centralized scheduling couldn’t get ahold of the office and she lied to my face about what she just had told me prior… then she gave me more inaccurate information about claims and a completely different reason I couldn’t be seen… when the Alamo ranch and dove creek locations have seen me with the same exact insurance and no claims had been denied but she blamed the provider… again I do this same job for a living and was lied to not once but THREE times by the receptionist on staff yesterday. I will be finding a new PCP because I do not trust an office that allows staff do act that way. I too make mistakes at work like every human being does… own them and fix it don’t lie to save yourself.
I just had my baby receive his first set of shots. As a first time mom I was not given any advice as to what to do for my baby once the shots swelled up or made him fuzzy. When i called the office its always the automated service and no call back. Most of my experiences have been good with NP Jessica, but the PA always seems to want to run out of the room and is afraid of interacting. He speaks too fast and gives the same speal every visit. "Crying over 4 hrs or fever go to ER."
Receptionist are so very rude NO CUSTOMER Service etiquette !!

Had a same day appointment. The PA was nice. Had a little bit of a wait time but overall, this place improved.
I've been taking my children here for two years!! I'm always able to get in if not the same day, 1-2 days in the future. Everyone is welcoming and friendly.
Incredibly frustrating having to come to this office, 1hr and a half delay on being seen the front office staff look overwhelmed and have no resolution and the only response is there’s only two providers. Mind you this was not a walk in visit or a last minute sick visit. We had a prescheduled well visit. Also now they are sitting the sick children along with the well visits and the newborn. Very disappointing and HORRIBLE treatment to both parents and children.
I love the girls at Almouie, they treat my kiddos really well. They’re very accommodating for appointments, which is a big deal, as j have 4 children 6 and under. Dr. McKenzie is amazing!!
