I absolutely adore the staff at this location and I bring both my sweet baby girls specifically to see Dr. Hawkins. Superb staff and very knowledgeable doctors. They get to know you and your family too it’s not like seeing a stranger every time. Very clean too, and they have a cool set up separating sick kids from well visits. Love it! Regards not to love!!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE this clinic and the staff! We’ve had the same staff since our son was a week old. The Dr. is So patient and kind, I always leave my appointments feeling more relieved and comforted each time. The support staff and nurses also make us feel welcome and comfortable as if we were family. If I could give more stars I would give them all for this place!
Never have had any issues when calling in I’ve always been able to reach someone physicians and staff has always been so polite and I do understand everywhere you go there is a waiting period sometimes it may be 10 to 15 minutes. It all depends but besides that service is great never had an issue with the doctors. Customer service representative. Nayra is always very nice when I call to Get information or set up an appointment . Thank you to everyone at Almouie pediatrics for your outstanding service!!
Not our usual office, the staff was not as friendly as our regular location. First issue we had was that they were out of the one year vaccines, and did not inform us of that until we were in the back. They did not give us the option to schedule a different day. So now we have to go twice.
Front desk staff didn't seem to be knowledgeable either. I asked for my children’s medical records ( insurance is changing and we have to switch providers), she told me they could not give them to me.The woman informed me that I would have to find a new office and then have them request the records. This is not true, my husband works as a nurse and it is not legal for them to withhold your child records if you are their parent and legal guardian. We later had to drive to our regular Almouie location and the happily printed them out for us with no issues.
The NP however was very friendly. My child enjoyed her very much. I liked the questions she asked about development and her suggestions on what we could do in his milk transition.
Good luck getting ahold of anybody in their office. I called and left messages for A MONTH regarding vaccinations they told me my son already had and wouldn't need. The one time I was patched through from the scheduling support reps, she said she would have to ask the nurses and she would call me back right away. Of course, nothing. Now, days before the deadline, someone is finally able to tell me that my child is due for one of the two vaccinations he's missing. Don't trust them with your children and their information.
Stay far away from this facility. Dr. Hawkins seems to be the only sane and genuine provider here. My twins had been seeing the NP Sherene G. since they were newborns and no matter how many times you as a parent express a concern to her, she could care less. She doesn’t care to listen to what your concerns are, she only wants to do what she wants to do. My twins have suffered through multiple conditions that she had ignored over time even though I expressed every concern with her! I ended up having to have them seen by different doctors, therapists, etc. on my own time! All because she doesn’t care to listen. Her bedside manner absolutely sucks, I don’t even know how she’s still working in a facility for kids, when there’s so many bad reviews about her. My kids aren’t even a year yet but will never be coming back here.
If you have concerns about your child’s health, I would recommend ONLY Dr. Hawkins. We saw her once and just from that one visit, the difference in bed side manner and concern was a complete 360. As much as we loved her, we still will no longer be coming to Almouie.
Front desk has been nothing but friendly every time we have been there. The MA’s on the other hand, horrible with kids, especially babies. They definitely always look like they hate their job.
The dr came in, didn't even introduce herself (never met this dr before, but reading other reviews I finally know her name... Dr sherene) and talked to quick like she was in a rush. She didnt listen to my concerns that my 10yr old has had every single day of his life. We left this office before but my son really needed the referral so I figured I'd give it another shot here, but they failed yet again. If you're looking for a pediatric doctor with care and compassion and treats you like a person and NOT a number, then this place IS NOT IT!!!
Had a great first experience. The ladies were very helpful from the insurance details to seeing how sick my daughter looked and attending her as well. We were in and out in an 1.5 tops.
