“I just had the most mind-blowing dinner experience at this gem of a restaurant! Their homemade tortillas are little pockets of heaven, and the margaritas? To die for. The service was top-notch, making us feel like VIPs from the moment we walked in. Their salsa is the perfect blend of fresh and flavorful, and I can confidently say there’s nothing on the menu that disappoints. But the star of the show? The chile rellenos are out of this world! Forget any other reviews you’ve read; this place is the real deal.”
You go in and wait to be seated. They serve you chips and salsa. The food menu items are delicious. My son loved the food. My daughters love the ambiance. They serve good drinks. Waiters are courteous some are bilingual and they've all been kind. The restrooms are clean. Only give it 4 stars because of parking it can be difficult to park especially on the weekends.
Stopped to eat here. The atmosphere is great but that is all I can say about this place besides the server who seemed to be attentive to our needs. It took almost an hour to get our food and once it arrived it was cold. We were told the soup takes time. The octopus in the soup was burned and hard. We were told they are fried first then cooked in the soup. I guess it’s made from scratch (sarcasm).
This is a great Mexican restaurant with authentic Mexican food. I have been coming to Alma Latina for a long time and the renovations are wonderful. Loperiod the food is good as ever but the atmosphere is a 100 times better. This is a must try if you're in the northeast side of Houston. I didn't take pictures of our food we were hungry and it would look so good. You will not be dissatisfied if you make the trip just for this food. I recommend the fajitas they are great. No
We had just come back from putting my wife's grandfather's ashes away and we came to this restaurant, it was about 20 of us, which they immediately took us and got tables together, but the service was not up to par. I don't think they were ready for this many people that early, I mean we spent a good amount of money for sub par food, I had ordered the Quesadilla Latina which was ok for what it was, some of us had ordered the breakfast and paid the extra for it and they took their time with it, but if it was alcohol they made sure they got that out there in time, when they delivered the food they had to do it in four different waves, so some of us had food and some of us didn't and it took them a while to get the rest of the food out.
When they brought out the Queso though they brought chips and I asked for some jalapenos, when we got the bill we got charged almost two dollars for that little bowl of jalapenos most restaurants just give me some jalapenos for queso, they were very slow when it came to giving people refills, yes I am being very nitpicky about this especially when you come in a group and the tip for this young lady was not deserving but it wasn't my call, we automatically got charged a tip on the ticket which is reasonable, but then my father-in-law wanted to give a little extra to contribute and like I said was not my call, but the service was horrible especially for what was spent there and in a large group like this, they need to have somebody there that is just for that table, it was like everybody was jumping in to help, but they were also trying to help the front so like I said maybe they weren't prepared to have a group of people come in.
Oh, and that Santa was freaky
Excellent drinks and food. Servers were amazing and friendly. Definitely recommend. This is a hidden gym. Doesn’t look like much from the outside but the inside is nice and clean.
Great lunch stop with all of your favorite Mexican foods. Enjoy your stop and ask for their lunch menu when you're on a budget or for a great, lighter lunch!

Very nice Latino Restaurant with very professional staff. This people know how to provide good customer service to there customers. Food is pretty good and they also have a huge seafood selection.. there chips & salsa is excellent.
