Food is good but staff could all be friendlier. The drag show is very fun and entertaining. You are laughing the entire time you're there. Plenty of parking available. They do a raffle where you may be the winner of a bottle of your choice. Recommended for the drag show. Food is about average .
Food, drinks and shows are good. Food and drinks are pricey but i know they need to make their money back for the free show so that is understandable. First 2 times i went i was grossly overcharged for drinks. I guess they assume you are too drunk to know how much you ordered and will just pay the tab, so they double everything. Now when i go i take cash and pay each drink upon delivery and havent had an issue since. Went from spending $500 to about $250 each visit.

The menu priced the drinks at $7.99 each. When we got ready to.pay at the register, the price for our drinks were $12.99 each.
Our waitress plainly just ignored us as we complained about the overcharge. She then pulled the " I don't understand nor speak English" card as we were adiment about the price we saw in the menu.
Keep in mind the price label are changed with a price gun .
They show you one.menu to order from ( with lowest prices) and when you are.about to pay, the keep the menus (with the higher prices) at the front register to show you that you crazy..
I would recommend not to EVER eat here at this restaurant
Okay my bestest she lives in New Orleans we talk on the phone a lot so she came here for the Reggae Festival this pass weekend we had an awesome time left the reggae festival and went to Alma Latina Alan Jackson we were treated with so much disrespect The Waitresses kept passing up our table it was a Spanish family that was sitting there at another table who addressed the issue for us so I want to say big upset at family Alma Latinas y'all need to do better so we decided to take our food and leave the food is Awesome by the way service sucks
It's a good spot to go, I went lastnight which was a Saturday night and it was the trans singing and making jokes so yes it was supper fun. And food is always good
The food awesome and though the staff was slightly stand-offish, I warmed up to them and therefore had a great time. Food was amazing. The green salsa was diving. We had the fajitas and the cheese. ????
I've been going to Alma Latina for over 20 years. My favorite is their Tex Mex enchiladas. I've tried enchiladas at other restaurants but I find myself comparing them to Alma Latina. I usually get the chicken enchiladas they are cheesy and the shredded chicken is moist and tender....these enchiladas are good! The Mexican rice and the refried beans are also good. They give a really big portion. I usually go to the Jensen location. I actually called my order in and picked it up on my most recent visit...It was hot and ready to go when i arrived! They serve really good authentic Mexican food. They're also very friendly. I highly recommend them.
Been here before loved the shrimp soup called in a order tonight for 2 shrimp soups and got sent home with seafood soup would’ve kept it if I liked it but don’t do seafood soup took it back in for shrimp only soup and they through left over scrambled eggs in our soups. Btw I had to ask for the difference I was charged for shrimp soup 2 girls in front had attitudes.
