Best WLM Reviews

A beautifully decorated restaurant, both inside and out. Starting off with the complimentary chips and salsa, the layout is perfect, the chips come in a woven basket, with the salsa served in a rock bowl, with generous portions of each. The fish tacos were wonderfully seasoned and has the right amount of kick, and balanced by the savory pineapples on top, and polished off with cilantro. It comes with deliciously soft, fluffy white rice and beans, though I opted out of the latter. Service was excellent, very fast and friendly. I'm a believer!
We popped into a Mexican restaurant at The Grove for a quick beer and were instantly impressed! With the great weather, enjoying a drink on the patio during the day was perfect. The vibe was fantastic, and we were completely taken in by the atmosphere. The tacos were amazing, and the squid ink tortillas were a standout. The whole experience was just so great—good food, sunny weather, and a lively ambiance. We’ll definitely be back next time!
Food was very low quality and extremely small portions. Prices are very high, which is understandable for the area and atmosphere they provide but that is not consistent with the quality, taste and portions. Here are pictures of a small $38 plate of 5 the smallest pieces of callo de hacha. And a $29 plate of 3 finger size tacos with barely any small pieces of steak. The seafood plate was bitter, under seasoned and fishy. The only good thing from the tacos was the handmade tortillas. Water was $8. The waitress was very nice and helpful. 0/10 would not recommend.
Being from southern Mexico (Puebla/Mexico City) I was surprised that they had Chile en Nogada on the menu. I ordered it and it was excellent. This place is legit for Mexican food! I strongly recommend it if you want authentic Mexican food.
The food was good; just not enough. I'm a small girl with a big appetite. The mushrooms tacos were tiny yet delicious. The rice and beans were decent. The atmosphere was lovely. The service was spotty. A couple of the staff noticed my empty glass of water and ignored it.
Max our server gave excellent recommendations and was wonderful. We had guacamole, fish tacos and enchiladas and everything was excellent. Try the Mi Corazon cocktail. Thumbs up!!
Went to Alma for some day drinks and was pleasantly surprised how gorgeous the space is for being at a shopping mall (The Grove). You feel transported to an Island vacation, and the drinks definitely support the fantasy. Got the Blueberry martini at the bar, which was tart and delicious. The service was excellent and the menus have great drawings and options for cocktails. Will definitely come back to try the food
The atmosphere is great. it has outdoor seating and it's surrounded by some trees and other restaurants. Unfortunately, food and service did not meet the expectations. I had the al pastor tacos and the amount of meat could have been larger. Also, the meat was quite dry. For a $22 plate, I wouldn't recommend it. Service wasn't that good either. We had to ask for some things (such as chips and salsa) several times and after 1 1/2 hours of being there, it felt as if they were rushing us by having several people apart from the waiter who also came several times, just trying to pick up the plates even though they still had food or offering validation for our parking. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate them offering, but when a customer asks for something it takes forever to get it but then has 4-5 people stopping by in a 15min period to ask questions related to closing the table, it only makes one feel as if they are rushing.
