Best WLM Reviews
We stayed at Allure Suites Hotel as a family of four (two adults, a teenager, and a child), and we were genuinely impressed! Despite the affordable price, the hotel exceeded our expectations. We had two spacious rooms with three queen beds—something you rarely get at this price point. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with everything in great condition.
The pool and hot tub were fantastic! The pool had a warm, comfortable temperature, and the hot tub was just right—perfect for relaxing after a long day.
A special shoutout to Rusty, who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. He was incredibly helpful, promptly providing any additional supplies we needed and explaining everything clearly. While the hotel might not have fancy, modern TVs, it more than makes up for it with comfort and excellent service. Highly recommend for families looking for value without compromising on quality!
The hotel is very close to the causeway to Cape Coral.
The blinds in the living room and bedroom twist open but don't draw open
The TV in living room is old CRT 27" TV but, there is a Flat screen TV in the bedroom. For some reason our room had dehumidifier running. I shut it off when we were in the room because it made a lot of noise. The toilet in the bathroom is low and had a shallow bowl.
Overall this is a great value. It's quiet and seems to be a safe location. There is a Publix grocery store within walking distance. The room has a full kitchen but no oven.
There was no dish soap or dish drainer provided, but there is a dishwasher.
The bedroom only has thin vertical blinds it doesn't have room darkening curtains or shades, so the morning sun lights up the room completely.
Overall a great place if your are visiting the Ft Myers/Cape Coral/Sanibel area.
1st the service was excellent the staff is friendly and helpful. 10/10.
2nd the room was very dated. The fridge is rusted. It was very clean but dated. There is a moldy film on the outside of every window so you can't see you.
3rd there is no coffee in the lobby or the room.
Update: I noticed my medication bag was missing the 2nd day of my stay. Didn’t want to include that in my review until I was sure. After looking high and low )including the trash) before and after packing and unpacking…. No meds ????
Solo traveler. To be a lowbudget hotel my stay was decent overall. Modern style building with outdated decor inside. I checked in and was told any visitors would have to leave their ID at the front desk which I found odd like I’m at a room and board or that they have a high volume of human trafficking ???? I walked into my 1st room and turned around immediately due to the odor. Then I was placed in a better room that was newly renovated and I was pleased. Susan was a Gem and made my stay enjoyable. Hotel was very quiet. I didn’t get the opportunity to use to pool or have breakfast.
This was by far one of the worst experiences for just customer service alone. The ‘assistant manager’ is not willing or interested in being happy or helpful. I left my tank tops (new) in the room and remembered two days later. Returned to them not being turned in by the cleaning service and the assist manager not willing to do anything about locating them. On many occasions she never greeted us, acknowledged our presence, or was interested in connecting with us at all.
Less importantly the pool and hot tub close at dark no exceptions. 6:30 pm is a ridiculous time to close a hot tub.
Quiet and affordable. Pool and hot tub are great. Rooms are nothing fancy but have what is needed for kitchenette accommodations to save money with refrigerator, stove top, microwave, toaster, dishes, and kitchenware. Super close to Cape Coral but there is a toll each time you cross the bridge. Plenty of stores and restaurants next door.
2 TVs, 1 was old and one was really old... It wasn't even a flat screen. No smart TV, so if you want to stream anything, bring a Chromecast or firestick.
Again, the price, it's a good deal. Clean with friendly staff. My one real issue was that we took an early flight to get a full day of sun and relaxation however, planned to wait for 3pm check-in at the pool but were told we were not allowed. In all my years, especially when booking for several days, I've always been allowed/invited to use the pool until check-in, so I was a bit surprised at such a policy here towards guests.
Also to note:
* "Fitness room" is just a few cardio machines. (ANYTIME FITNESS across the street has week pass for $50)
* If you book on a 3rd party platform that states there is a continental breakfast, there is none.
Okay so, first of all I’d like to say, the staff here is great. Especially the younger woman who works in the morning to noon. She is a SWEETHEART! The property itself is old. Before you stay, you MUST be aware that EVERY ADULT MUST SHOW ID. You will not be allowed past the lobby unless you present ID, period. No exceptions. This is not negotiable. You will be turned away, period. So bring ID.
The property is quite outdated, and things are a bit run down in places. But I do have to say our rooms were spotless where it REALLY mattered. Our bathroom was immaculately clean, I was quite shocked just how spotless the bathrooms were. Our beds were very clean, no bed bugs or hair etc, the sheets were all fresh and spotless. The kitchen is rather run down, the bottom of the fridge was rusted but it appeared clean. The inside of the fridge was also very clean. Bring extra pillows, because the hotel doesn’t give extra even if you have someone sleeping on the pull out couch bed. The carpets are quite dirty, and the hallways are all outdated and dusty. During our stay we were awoken by the fire alarm blaring for quite a while until the fire department showed up. A man was sanding and painting in the hallway and set it off, so it does seem they are doing some repairs and painting etc. With some major refurbishment, and deep cleaning, this could actually be an incredibly nice option for a great price at a great location. I personally live in Cape Coral and was staying as my sister and her kids had stayed here for about a week during Christmas and we wanted to stay with them the last night before they left.
Now.. I do have to be honest.. the day we checked out we did see roaches. One scuttled across the kitchen counter, and then I saw another one under the kitchen cabinets. This was a bit of a bummer but..it’s Florida. This is an old location. I wasn’t too shocked to see them.
Overall I’d rate it a 3/5 and it could be much higher with some basic cleaning, refurbishments, and pest control.
4.5/5.0 |Hard to beat a brand new room. This had a kitchenette, small desk area, a small eating table and a couch in one room. Bedroom and en suite bath in separate area. |We were one of the first, if not the first, to use the bedding. A rarity. Make sure to ask for one of the new rooms if visiting here. ||Barebones lodging. No phones in room. No clock in room. No coffee. One, small towel for each guest, but that’s all we really needed. Very grateful for the new room at the price point we paid. Very friendly staff.||Pretty much a food desert in that area, so went to Publix for dinner. It was perfect.
