Wooooh! Lovely experience!
Service: 3/5
Jesse, my waiter, was perfectly capable and polite.
Unfortunately, I felt a cold vibe from her. I didn’t want to take it personally, so I focused on my myself. I wish that I had a friendlier host.

WORTH IT!
Ambiance: 5/5
I was the only person within my section on Sunday evening around sunset.
Loved the view of the pier.
Perfect :)

Everything was BOMB AF
Value: 5/5
My stop to this restaurant was from a recommendation while dining at Marble Room.
Worthy trip to end my visit in Cleveland.

TLDR :
Amazing food, stunning pier view.
This was our first time at Alley Cat and we will definitely make the hour long trip from home to visit again. The food was absolute perfection. We ordered a bunch of small plates to share because everything sounded so good and we couldn't decide. Not one dish disappointed! Our server was also fantastic, very friendly and attentive. The beautiful views of the river were the cherry on top. This place is a must go for anyone in or visiting Cleveland!
Loved it! Looking forward great Seafood at a decent price? Head on over to The Flats section of downtown Cleveland. Better than the fancy, expensive places in the Warehouse district. I scouted out the alley cat before leaving Philadelphia via TripAdvisor. And I was not disappointed! The first appetizer was salmon ceviche and it was wonderful!. Very flavorful, served with tortilla chips. Everything was Super Fresh and I definitely wanted more. My entree was a unique dish called Skate Wing Schnitzel. Rarely do I eat fried fish when I go out to a restaurant. This was pan fried. The breading was light, the skate wing was done perfectly and it was served with a caper butter that complimented the dish. Also served with broccolini (a little too crunchy for me) and roasted fingerling potatoes. I sat outside on the patio and the atmosphere was perfect. The river is very nice at dusk. I recommend the Alley Cat to anyone.
Great waterfront restaurant in a very cool area in downtown Cleveland (East Bank of the Flats). Excellent oyster selection, great cocktail menu, and delicious seafood
Visited to celebrate my mom's birthday! Let's start for the location, was just perfect! Drinks were amazing, food very flavorful, and price was very fair for the quality and food.
Our food was delicious. We Oysters, cold noodle salad. And some cocktails. I can't wait to go back to try their brunch! Also, even though we arrived 30 mins before closing, all of the staff were really gracious & accommodating. I highly recommend checking this restaurant out.
Great spot on the river, nice menu. We always order two oysters of each type that they have that day, decide on our favorite, and then order more of just that one.
Really good salads and other items too.
Servers sometimes get lost for a while, but not long enough to cause a problem.
Enjoyed our dinner at the Alley Cat. Food was really good, service was extremely friendly and the patio off the river on a beautiful evening is awesome. Only downside is the allowance of dogs on the patio where owners cannot control them. Oyster selection was great and the white wine list was better than the red wine list. All in all, an enjoyable night at a restauarant that I would recommend for others.
