DO NOT COME HERE. This clinic is an absolute nightmare. I’ve persisted for a year. The phones are never answered, front desk staff turnover is constant. The doctor made it really difficult for me to manage my IVIG treatments. I could go on and on. I’m writing this in the waiting room after I told the woman on the phone I needed to see a certain practitioner. I arrive and I’m scheduled with someone else. I literally can’t deal with this nightmare anymore.
One of the shot nurses in Rio Rancho tried to personally stop me getting the shots I needed. When I spoke to two doctors, they gave me the treatment I need. That shot nurse then behaved spitefully and nastily towards me and would deliberately make me wait longer than anyone else by not treating me. So I changed offices to the ABQ location. I’m at the ABQ location today and she is here. There are only two shot nurses on and I was treated terribly and spoken to in a very disrespectful way. I know it’s the nurse that has a personal vendetta against me. Truly this is such a nightmare and has no place in a medical practice
When you see the doctors, they are great and the shots have been so helpful to my son. You have to stay on a schedule for the shots but making a shot appointment is absolutely impossible unless you schedule them in person weeks ahead. You call and call and never receive an answer. You leave a message and no one returns your call. If you stop by mid day to try to make an appointment they close for the longest lunch I have to ever seen. The only way to make an appointment is to leave your own job and go in person around their extensive lunch time. They also cancel your shot appointments regularly because they have no staff. I work with multiple patients of the same office and everyone reports the same issue causing them to get off track on their treatment and they have to start over. It is extremely frustrating to be a patient here.
Please do not choose this location. If you do not make your appointments in person you will never get ahold of them….ever. This is the third time I have had load up my toddlers, drive down and make an appointment in person for the following week. They do not answer their phones, one of the most frustrating establishments I’ve done business with.
I was referred to Allergy Partners. It was quite a difficult 2 months process to schedule an initial appt. Lots of leaving messages and no answer phone calls, not mention the rudeness on the phone. The staff at the front were pretty nice during my appt. The tech/medical assistant was quiet, didn’t say much, but she can sure stab u in the back with those needles. Not bad once but when there r 72 needles, be gentle! The doctor was strange, kept referring to himself as a cop and wouldn’t let me finish explaining my answers to his questions. At the end of it all, I need to return for some allergy shots. Told me to get an epi pen, by the way. I went to schedule appts for my shots and they said they would call to schedule when serum is made. I waited 2 months and got a message to call and schedule. I did. No answer. Left message. No response returned. Called back and left a message. No return call. It’s been several months and I haven’t heard anything. Yet they billed my insurance happily. Called my insurance to let them know I haven’t received anything. My suggestion, go somewhere else. Avoid this place if you can.
After growing up with allergies and asthma I started getting really sick in my 40 different allergies came out! I went to a clinic who made me feel crazy trying to tell me I didn’t have asthma or allergies! Luckily I didn’t take that for an answer and went to Allergy Partners which saved me! I went from having 7-9 sinus infections to 1 to none a year! I saw Dr. Wang who took time to get me tested and put me on a plan which was almost 10 years ago! The staff at Allergy Partners truly care about their patients from checking in, scheduling appointments, shot clinics and providers go out of their way to make sure you’re taken care of! I’ve been to both locations and they are all amazing! Dr. Wang wasn’t in I didn’t have an appointment, but Dr. Ghabry was walking by took care of me! I’m finally at my goal with my injections have been off prednisone and antibiotics for the past few years! Thank you Allergy Partners for taking care of me! I highly recommend them!
Everyone here was polite and friendly. We were seen quickly. Doc explained everything with great detail and gave us multiple options, which was nice. The only downside is the waiting area is really congested. But other than that its a good place.
Phone calls go unanswered, voicemails are not returned. Had to go to the office in person to make an appointment and when I arrived for the appointment I was informed the serum had expired and they did not have the new vials yet. This has happened twice and I have been given the excuse of understaffing each time. Avoid and seek treatment elsewhere.
What's the point of having a phone number if you guys don't ever answer the phone? I have an appointment for my shots coming up, but I am sick so I need to reschedule. I have been calling and calling and I can't get through to anyone, so instead of staying away from people, I have to go in to reschedule my appointment, thanks a lot allergy partners.
