If you are reading the reviews about poor office staff quality, don’t ignore them. Half the back office girls don’t want to do their job and act like they’re not being paid to answer the phone and work to coordinate patient and doctors schedules. The front office window staff is nice and friendly, but good luck getting the phone picked up in under 3 calls and 10 minute holds without a laughable attitude if you ever have to reschedule an appointment, with plenty of time in advance. This completely ruined my experience and should not fly at a practice with such seasoned and recommendable doctors.
One of the best visits I had in a long time! Staff is beyond welcoming and friendly! Doctor was very informative and took the appropriate time with us. The timing of the visit was super quick, which is always a good thing as life is always busy we do not have all the time in the world to sit in a wait room nor room to be seen! High recommend!!!!
Regarding Dr. Duyen Nguyen. She was a reffered from our ther allergist that we love but we moved. If I could leave ZERO stars I would. We went in for my son who suffers from a gluten allergy. I'll start by saying that for a doctor who works with kids she did not engage in my 3 year old at all. He was so excited to see the doctor.
She got to the room, she made minimal eye contact and sat down with her laptop and started reading. He went to her to say hi and show her his toy and said "hi! He needs a check up" She then COLDLY says "no, I don't want that" To be shot down and pretty much ignored, he was devastated. After that he did not want to stay. HE IS THREE. You can engage with him since he is the patient. Be kind. To him that toy was sick and you are a doctor.
She then argues with me about the allergy. That she's never seen a child that has JUST a gluten allergy. That did not give me any confidence in her ability. She did not address any concerns I had about constant nose bleeds or eczema on his torso. SHE DID NOT EXAM HIM AT ALL!!! NEVER TOUCHED HIM. Gave us no tests. NOTHING!
I asked about a skin test, I asked if we could do the blood test to see if his numbers have improved from last year. She said no we don't need to. When I asked why she just said it was not needed. HOW DO WE KNOW IF HIS ALLERGY IS IMPROVING??? She even was confused why we were even there to begin with. He has yearly allergy checkups, that's why. SHE WAS USELESS.
Now the front staff I have no problems with. They were fine.
Took my son to Dr. Nguyen per our pediatrician's referral. While not questioning her medical expertise, I want to point out that Dr. Nguyen's chair side manner left much to be desired.
We came in for my son's food allergy. Yet from the very beginning, Dr. Nguyen was fixated on allergic rhinitis, and took a while to realize the purpose of the visit. When we were trying to clear the misunderstanding, Dr. Nguyen repeatedly interrupted us in an abrupt manner and a chiding tone.
Before the visit, we studied the recent developments in the treatment landscape for my son's particular situation, and came in with detailed questions. Unfortunately Dr. Nguyen seemed visibly frustrated by our questions, and appeared at times annoyed and even confrontational.
We left with the feeling that Dr. Nguyen didn't like to listen, and especially not to knowledgeable and informed patients. I hope our experience was just an isolated event. Otherwise, Dr. Nguyen would be doing a great disservice to the patients entrusted to her care.
Worst ENT ever.
I got tonsillitis so I went there.
I thought they can help me to suck out all abscess but they sent me to ER!?
Today I am at ER and Doctor at ER failed to understand why they sent me here…
Definitely not recommend you come here.
Holly the shot nurse was amazing. I have gone a number of times and she has done my shots and they were perfect no pain nor reactions like previous staff. She takes care of her patients with respect and kills with kindness, highly recommend seeing her and having her do your shots!
We went in for allergy treatment and all the staff was friendly and super polite! Jasmin did my daughter’s skin testing she was very nice patient and answered all of my husband and I questions. Very informative and explained every step of the way! She was amazing!
During my visit at the Allergy & ENT Associates Dr Nguyen and her staff was very helpful, professional and kind. They provided detail information and explanation on what issues I was dealing with and took quick action to help me resolve the issue. They went above and beyond what I expected.
