Who would stay here?! For the price, you're better off in your car! However, I'm sure the reaction of many unsuspecting guests was priceless when they arrived
Little sketchy hotel in a field. Manager told my friend and I $90 after tax, when we pulled up he wanted $101. Room was nasty. Stayed in room 45, door could easily open even with being locked. Went to front desk to change rooms and he stayed in his office never coming out to help. Our cell phones kept glitching and setting alarms off that we didn’t set on our phones. There is no free WiFi, it’s not a smart tv like the manager said it’s cable and the tv glitched and lagged so awfully. Besides, even if you wanted to watch tv good luck hearing it from the bed. Tv is beyond tiny and even at max volume you can’t hear it clearly. Nasty green pull out sofa that had stains and was torn showing bed springs. Even if you wanted to pull the bed out of the sofa, you couldn’t, there isn’t enough room in the hotel room to do so. Pillows felt hard and you heard so much of the highway traffic it was insane. Bathroom lights were automatic and blinding. Mini fridge barely kept our drinks or food cold. Dirty microwave. This place made me feel like it’s the kind of place to get away with murder. Felt unsafe and disgusting after staying here.
It was nice to know a hotel with smoking rooms but waking up covered with bed bug bites was not what I had planned. The walls and ceiling had nicotine dripping from them, bed sheets had holes in them and various stains, shower was in pretty bad shape. And apparently the room was full of bed bugs. I would not recommend this place ,when we first got in the room I noticed a camera in the corner of the room near ceiling facing the bed and I immediately covered it with a wash cloth, really bad place but was so road weary I had to get some sleep, wife was really feeling un easy there
My father was visiting from out of town and we were looking for a room for a week. This small motel was great! The owners are on site and are absolutely pleasant. They do not allow partying (such a plus!), they have nice grassy area all around the property with benches, picnic tables and small grills if you want to use them. Yes, the rooms need to be updated but it’s clean, quiet and close to things with really easy in and out driveway.
Owner is racist and the rooms are HORRIBLE. I was told checkout was 12 and at 11:05 the police were knocking on my door. The room had bugs everywhere and the bathroom was so dirty that I couldn’t take a shower. One of the worse hotels in Pennsylvania by far. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!
Would never recommend this place to anyone, the bathroom was nasty! Base of toilet by floor dirty, hair in corners, plungers - in tub & sink were missing or wouldn`t move. When we pulled- up we thought of the "Bates Motel" and was on a dark dead- end street right by the highway where you heard the cars all night. Hot water in sink but not in shower. Way overpriced for the condition of the room. Personally, we would not have given it 1 star, but we had to or we couldn`t continue with the post.
Love the location!!! It's a Great place if you like nature. I've seen deer, bunnies, a fox, a blue jay, n a red cardinal.. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the room smelled of moth balls. N the room could of been cleaned a bit better..
Lovely family owned motel in a quiet location, yet close to everything. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. Basic amenities and a great value can be found at this historic mid-century motel. The grounds are quite nice, with picnic tables, bird houses and gardens.
