Best WLM Reviews
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Was our first time and certainly not our last! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and an amazing ambiance. The decor is chic yet comfortable, setting the ideal mood for a memorable evening. With a gluten sensitivity, dining out can be tricky, but the staff at Allelo went above and beyond to ensure we had safe and delicious options. Every dish we tried was beautifully presented, packed with flavor, and you can tell the ingredients are top-quality. The team is attentive, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about their menu. It’s rare to find a place that checks all the boxes, but Allelo does it effortlessly. Highly recommend for an unforgettable dining experience in St. Pete!
Specific dishes we recommend:
Branzino
Mussels
Scallops
Baklava cheesecake
My first time ever coming here after we received some recommendations. Didn’t live up to my expectations but wasn’t a total let down. The drinks were good. The small plates/appetizers that were delicious were REALLY good and then there were some I had to spit out. I never spit food out. Ever.
It wasn’t that it was inedible, it just tasted really badly to me. We had the bread service and the butter that was white just tasted awful. No one at the table wanted that butter. The other butter that came with it wasn’t that much better.
The one good thing about this place was its delicious beef tartare. I appreciated the presentation of it being mixed at the table too. Pâté was also on point. The bread that came with it was perfect in texture. The goat cheese was well loved.
We also tried the foie gras oysters. It was okay. They were really really small and each order ($17) only comes with two. They tasted good, but not good enough where you’d care for another bite. The snapper crudo was also okay.
With how good some of the appetizers were, we expected a lot out of our main dishes. I was severely disappointed. The lamb shank was too salty and full of fat (albeit tender and well portioned). The octopus was tender but felt like mush. The pork chop’s glaze was too strong and it outshined the chop. The lamb bolognese was subpar as well.
The service was probably the worst about this experience. Our server seemed to have a bad attitude from the start. Wouldn’t check on us enough, and forgot our drinks. It was a simple soda that we waited 15-20 mins for. We ended up not being able to have it with our food. It also wasn’t like she wasn’t around. She serviced a table next to us with ease and was very helpful with them. It wasn’t until the very end when we asked for our check that she perked up and talked about dessert and being super friendly all of a sudden.
I normally wouldn’t care about this kind of thing, but when you pay about $400+ for a meal, you expect more. Wouldn’t you? We normally leave really good tips (35%+) but we gave industry standard because we left with a bad taste in our mouth. (Literally and figuratively).
It was such a pleasure dining with you all on yesterday.
The food , the service , the experience was breathtaking and I appreciated everything so much! My lady was so pleased!
I will be sharing my experience with the PGA TOUR!!!!
Shane was an amazing server!!! Give that kid a raise!
What A beautiful restaurant, nice and cozy. We opted for the brunch and it was amazing. The waiters were also amazing. The French toast was the best by far I’ve ever tasted. I recommend this restaurant for brunch and drinks.
We made a special trip from Cape Coral (3.5 hour drive) specifically to try both dinner and brunch at Allelo and we are SO happy we did! Both meals were absolutely amazing and the service was fantastic. Everything we ordered was delicious and it was very apparent how much special attention they put into their menu. We can't wait to come back again!
This place is such a vibe! Great ambiance and prime location on the trendy beach drive in DTSP. Dishes we shared: Meatballs, Khobz & Focaccia, Pate, Seafood pasta. Food & service were good. Drinks were amazing! I do recommend.
Amazing! What a beautiful spot for dinner. Spent a girls weekend in St. Pete and this was the perfect setting for a girls dinner or even a romantic date night. The service felt top tier. Our server was well knowledgeable of the menu and offered great recommendations. We ordered an array of dishes to try a variety of flavors that the restaurant had to offer. For starters we ordered the mussels, Burrata and the meatball. Everything was impeccable. The mussels were fresh and the sauce it was cooked in was so delicious I scooped it up with bread. The meatballs were flavorful and melt in your mouth! We also shared the cacio e pepe pasta, I've always felt this pasta is pretty mild in general but I loved how rich the sauce was. Definitely made well here. The only confusion I had was that this restaurant is advertised as Mediterranean which is what I was expecting however it felt more Italian in options/flavors. We didn't mind it at all since all of the dishes were delicious but if you're looking for true Mediterranean I wouldnt select this in particular. However for great Italian flavors definitely try it out! Exquisite!
Best restaurant in St Pete. Food is consistently delicious and the drinks are amazing. Service is always great!
The branzino and Cacio e Pepe are probably our two most ordered plates but honestly everything is great, you can’t go wrong.
