Been taking our infant for almost a year to Allegro and I have only positive things to say. The doctors, nurses and front office staff have been very caring and patient. We have been seeing Dr Bhatnagar for our kid and she is very knowledgeable, caring and explain everything in detail. Definitely recommend allegro to other families around.
The stars are for the doctors! The doctors and nurses are amazing! The staff is very very unprofessional. I walked in about 5 minutes late to my child’s appointment, and one of the ladies at the front desk asked who the patient was. I let her know, and then she said, “I don’t know what took so long” and waited for me to answer. No hello, no good morning, no how are you. That put me in an extremely uncomfortable position - she could have simply let me know we will have to reschedule if it was an issue. We will be switching pediatricians. This is the whole reason people are not wanting to go to Allegro - very unpleasant staff.
Doctor Chabbra was great! She was attentive, listened to all our concerns and made us feel heard. She followed up with great resources and addressed each concern. Grateful for her care.
Please DO NOT take your child to this place. Allegro Pediatrics has no genuine interest/care for your child, but rather only interested to find ways to increase the bill.
We recently had a well child exam, where I had no special concerns. The doctor after checking my child's belly etc, asked about a rash that 'SHE' saw in my child's hand. I said that it is the eczema spot which flared up due to our recent vacation and I have a protocol that I use to clear it up in a week or so. For this dialog that the doctor initiated, I am being charged a consultation of $150. How is this fair?
I understand we sign a financial agreement, agreeing to pay for any additional service, but this is not an additional service!!! Why should I pay for the doctor asking me a question??!!! Ridiculous place. Please go elsewhere to save your time and energy!
Oh and I am not the only one having this issue. Lots of others. Read all reviews on Google and on Yelp!
Everytime we took our baby for a checkup, we've had to wait 20-30 min for the doctor to show up, then another 20 min to have the nurse come prepped with the vaccines. It's already stressful to be outside with a baby, let alone the baby has to be naked the whole time we're waiting for them. Their slow procedure and long wait time is super frustrating and almost feels disrespectful to the baby and the parents. We are considering finding another ped for this reason. It's also almost impossible to see the same doctor each time.
Very courteous staff nice and clean office space and a convenient location for me.
Scheduling the last appointment on 12/24 was perfect we got right in no wait!!
You guys are great! It was my first time here are the new location.
You all have earned my business for sure!
Really nice fish tank
I recently visited this place for a well-baby checkup for my 9-month-old. During the visit, I asked the doctor about a penny-sized skin rash on my baby's belly. The doctor quickly assessed the rash, mentioned it seemed okay, and prescribed an aztema cream just in case. This brief interaction, lasting less than 10 seconds, was later billed us more than $300 extra as “separate office visit”.
The exorbitant charge for such a minor inquiry feels unjustified and has left us very disappointed. I will be seeking care elsewhere in the future due to this experience.
Deeply disappointing experience with Dr. Kullnat. She was dismissive. Robotic. Jumped to a treatment plan without any sort of consultation. Was irritated when I asked to better understand what she is considering the diagnosis to be. While dismissing my questions, she did find the time and thought it appropriate to address my 9 yr old (!!) to pitch the HPV vaccine and how it prevents cancer. This was after I confirmed that we will do it but in a couple of years. She addressed him as if he is the one who needs to make the decision. I then had to explain to him (because her comment made him nervous), why it is ok to delay for a couple of years. She didn't waste the opportunity to add extra charges - $100 for absolutely nothing of value. Part of the bill was literally for an interaction where I said I was applying vaseline to the area and she replied "yes that's what I would do". Bam...$30.
