The doctor and staff are kind, it's a nice office. But we are having a newborn in October, and they are telling us to take our 2 year old to a drive in vaccine 20 minutes farther away because they are too lazy to do it individually. The whole point of a pediatrician is because a doctor visit/ injection is a scary process, especially for a 2 year old. They are not concerned with your child's well being, they just care that their job is easy and they make their money. Now I get to take my 2 year old daughter to a CVS for her vaccine because her doctors office is too lazy to give it to her.
Adding to this review: the staff wouldn’t accommodate us and my 2 year old has no other option as a regular business such as CVS won’t even give a 2 year old a vaccine due to safety. So here is our 11 o’clock appointment with my wife who is 2 days away from labor, which I told the office about and they didn’t care. Terrible business, like sheep with dollar signs over their head. This line spans 2 parking lots, this is for a 2 year old. SMH, making 1 year olds do this too. Literally shooting babies with needles in parking lots, I understand 5 and up or something of the sort, this is a joke.
The worst experience I had with pediatric care since our daughter was born!!
We have been trying to get a urine test for our 2-year-old with a history of UTI. They asked us to visit for a simple urine test, that could have been done in any lab. When calling to get an appointment there were no appointments available. provided a virtual appointment, but cancelled it an hour before suggesting an in-person visit. We had to take her to urgent care on Saturday, they took the urine sample but did not send it to the lab until Monday. After a message and a voicemail, On Wednesday the week after they got back to us that the test was contaminated. Asking for a retest, after back and forth the Nurse team is suggesting to book another appointment and come in for a visit if she is in distress. This is ridiculous!!!!
I definitely do not recommend any clinics/locations of Allegro.
They didn't check my baby's hip even when I told the doctors about that my baby's hip makes a click sound constantly. She just goes "Oh babies are flexible so their joints make crack sounds and you don't have to worry about it".
When I heard that info from the docs, I thought I was overthinking and need to
calm down. BUT here we are.
When she started walking we found out that she doesn't walk normally. And her legs lengths are not equal.
We asked about our concern to the doctor we met at my baby's 18 months checkup.
And the doctor(This doctor was fine) said we should go to the Seattle children's and get X-ray.
So we did.
And what do you think we found out?
Her leg is dislocated!!
If the doctors checked her hip and legs when we asked about it, she wouldn't have had to get a surgery!! She only had to wear a harness since she was younger than 6 months old when we found out the click sound!!
I'm so mad and devastated.
Can't believe that any single doctor that we met at Allegro hasn't checked her hip condition which is very common thing for newborn babies.
I will never go back to this clinic. Never again!
Every time we go to this location, we are very pleased with our visit. They are always on time and Dr. Newman is the best! Her nurses are also wonderful. My kids have been with Allegro since they were born and we have always been happy.
Great doctors and ease of scheduling but HORRIBLE billing department and incredibly rude and demeaning. I asked about a past due balance because our appointment was cancelled without notice and they supposedly cancelled all of our future appointments with ZERO NOTICE. Then had the audacity to tell me to go to a public doctors office where I can afford it… I wish I was joking. I understand owing some money - GIVE BETTER PAYMENT OPTIONS. I reported this to the manager of billing and have since decided to refuse to pay any medical bills due to Allegro because of this mistreatment + medical neglect and find a lawyer. The fact that they treat their patients like they’re disposable, make fun of their financial status and literally made me cry. I wish Lisa in accounting nothing but the worst. I hope all your fork prongs are bent and your tires are forever flat.
My son had hard time going to any doctor until we found dr. Benda.
Our lives changed, no more traumatic experience for the whole family.
She is kind, professional and takes her time answering questions.
I am grateful that any advice she ever gave me worked for my son and he is growing up to be healthy and active. It’s an unmatched feeling to find a pediatrician you trust.
Thank you.
We have always had good experience with all the doctors we have seen at the Factoria location. Our recent visit was yesterday, we see Dr. Showman for my two kids for regular appointments and she always radiates positive energy, listens patiently, examines thoroughly, and explains properly. My kindergartener is always happy after meeting Dr. Showman and her team!
Also, for the very first time, we were late by seven minutes to make it to the appointment but the team was thoroughly professional and patient! Thank you so much!
We love Dr. Lampe and the staff at allegro. We are able to schedule appointments quite a ways out, which works well for our family. Any time we have ever had a health problem, Dr. Lampe has gone above and beyond to connect with us and ensure we are all well (even my husband and I!) she is a true treasure and I feel lucky to know her.
